Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead and supervise window installation crews during projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
- Install home remodeling products, focusing on windows, in accordance with Mad City Windows & Baths' procedures and quality requirements.
- Perform finish carpentry work as needed for each project, including trimming, sealing, and finishing touches to ensure a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners throughout the installation process, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Conduct a final walkthrough with homeowners at the completion of each project, ensuring customer satisfaction and obtaining approval for final payments.
- Complete detailed carpentry and installation checklists with homeowners, documenting work performed and any issues encountered.
- Coordinate with management to report progress, escalate issues, and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards, and by ensuring team members follow safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot installation problems on-site, identifying solutions quickly to avoid delays.
- Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are properly maintained, organized, and available for each project.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices and safety procedures to promote a skilled and compliant workforce.

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in remodeling, carpentry, or construction, with a focus on window replacement or wrapping windows preferred.
- Experience leading or supervising a team of installers or construction workers.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record, as travel to multiple job sites is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with homeowners, team members, and management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, installation instructions, and technical documents.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, operate power tools, and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding.
