Styling Director
Reformation seeks a Style Director to define the visual language for every campaign and collection. This role owns the complete styling narrative from initial concept to final asset. You will shape how the brand appears across every customer touchpoint.

This position is based in Los Angeles as a full-time, onsite hybrid role at our Vernon headquarters. The compensation for this role is one hundred eighty thousand dollars annually.
You will set the overarching visual language for future campaigns and collections. You will craft seasonal storytelling concepts that feel ownable across all product launches. You will guide product photography to ensure a cohesive aesthetic across e-commerce and social channels. You will collaborate with merchandising teams to align styling with commercial and creative goals. You will translate inspiration boards into detailed direction for photo shoots and video content. You will partner with marketing to maintain brand consistency across every external communication. You will review image edits to confirm they meet brand identity and campaign requirements. You will approve final assets before they go live on digital platforms and in stores. You will educate partners on styling standards to ensure future collections reflect the intended vision.
You bring hands-on experience directing photography for fashion brands. You understand how to build styling frameworks that scale across different categories. You communicate clearly with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment. You manage multiple projects while maintaining strict attention to detail. You bring a strong eye for composition, color, and visual storytelling.
Experience in sustainable or purpose-driven sectors is a valuable asset.

- Execute the visual strategy for all campaigns and collections under the Styling Director title.
- Develop seasonal narrative concepts that reinforce the brand identity across every product drop.
- Lead the direction of product photography to maintain a consistent aesthetic online and in physical retail.
- Coordinate closely with merchandising teams to ensure styling choices support both creative and commercial objectives.
- Convert abstract inspiration into concrete guidance for photographers, models, and set designers.
- Align all external communications with the brand standards in partnership with the marketing department.
- Audit image edits to verify adherence to the brand identity and specific campaign requirements.
- Sign off on final imagery before publication across digital channels and brick-and-mortar locations.
- Mentor internal partners on styling best practices to ensure visual consistency in future collections.
- Direct hands-on photography work for the fashion brand to ensure quality and vision alignment.
- Construct scalable styling frameworks that function effectively across diverse product categories.
- Engage in clear dialogue with cross-functional collaborators in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.
- Juggling multiple project streams while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- Demonstrate a refined sense of composition, color theory, and visual narrative techniques.
- Draw upon experience within sustainable or purpose-led environments to inform creative decisions.
