Fractional Product & Narrative Marketer
Job description
About the role
Reflow is building a workforce and workflow intelligence platform for enterprise ops teams, and this role sits at the center of product marketing and narrative creation. You will own the process of turning market signals into a clear, repeatable story that the company can ship into the world. You will partner closely with engineering to translate technical substance into narratives that land with precision. The focus is on expressing and evolving a through-line that makes Reflow visible without relying on legacy surveillance baggage. You will treat every piece of content as an experiment, measuring what resonates and hardening the narrative over time. This is a hands-on role where judgment, instinct, and speed matter more than job titles or formal marketing playbooks. You will be the external voice of the product, shaping how the market sees Reflow and why it matters now.
Key facts
What you'll do
Monitor competitor launches, industry shifts, trending topics, hot-button news, and narrative openings to identify timely angles for Reflow.
Shape those moments into a sharp point of view by coordinating with engineering to secure technical depth and accuracy.
Brief and produce landing pages, video concepts, and a steady cadence of social content that amplifies the core narrative.
Express and evolve Reflow's core narrative across every piece you publish, starting from the foundation provided and taking it to market.
Spot and originate market and competitive moments that warrant a response, then turn them into focused campaigns tied to the company's point of view.
Run publishing cadence so visibility becomes a steady drumbeat rather than a one-off stunt, maintaining momentum across channels.
Measure what happens by tracking which narratives, angles, and stories land with which audiences and why, then feed insights back into future work.
Test angles in public, watch performance and sentiment, and harden the through-line so the narrative sharpens with each cycle instead of repeating.
Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to turn complex substance into clear, credible stories for external audiences.
Use data and qualitative feedback to prioritize the next angle, ensuring resources focus on the campaigns most likely to move visibility and engagement.
Requirements
A background that blends content and product marketing, owning both the story and the execution of the content.
Strong strategic and editorial judgment, with the ability to look at a market moment and see the angle others miss.
A reactive muscle that stays on top of industry news and trends and acts with fast turnarounds on live market moments.
Experience in early-stage B2B SaaS marketing, from seed to Series B, comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited resources.
Track record of running campaigns end-to-end, not just writing copy someone else has briefed or executing isolated tactics.
Comfortable directing or lightly producing landing pages and video, able to brief well even when full production support is not required.
Comfortable with the data side, digging into why content landed the way it did and letting that steer the next round of narrative and distribution.
Bonus technical fluency or the ability to learn enough to translate engineering substance into a credible story for external audiences.
Bonus an eye for making content discoverable and citable in AI search, with awareness of AEO and GEO considerations in content decisions.
Nice to have
Preference for candidates who have operated at the intersection of product marketing and storytelling in B2B SaaS environments.
Experience building campaigns that integrate content, landing pages, and video into a single coherent narrative.
Familiarity with privacy-by-design positioning and the operational technology space, though this is not required.
An understanding of how AI search visibility and citation can amplify early-stage brand narratives.
Practical notes
This is a freelance or contract engagement, open to discussing scope and cadence based on mutual fit.
Travel is not required, and the role is fully remote within the United States.
No visa sponsorship is mentioned or implied for this opportunity.
There are no published working hour expectations or application deadlines in the provided source text.
