This Builder - Engineering Lead role centers on owning the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for challenging, high-impact technical initiatives that define the future of our revenue stack. You will provide technical leadership by setting engineering direction and making critical architectural decisions that shape our platform. You will partner closely across functions to tackle complex engineering, product, and business challenges head-on. You will bridge business objectives, product strategy, and engineering execution to build impactful product experiences that drive growth. You will identify opportunities to improve products and engineering systems, then drive those projects from conception to production. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, combining deep technical expertise with strong product judgment. You will help shape the future direction of Reevo as we continue to scale and evolve our capabilities. You will work alongside a team of over 100 builders with more than 30 exits under their belt, ensuring you are in exceptional company.

What you'll do

• Define and own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for complex, high-impact technical initiatives that shape the future of our revenue stack.
• Set technical direction and make key architectural decisions that influence the scalability and reliability of our systems.
• Lead the execution of projects from concept through production, ensuring alignment with business goals and Reevo's vision for the revenue stack.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and customer success to solve complex engineering and business challenges.
• Bridge the gap between business objectives, product strategy, and engineering implementation to create cohesive product experiences that drive growth.
• Identify opportunities for improving products and engineering systems, then drive these improvements from ideation through execution and deployment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers, helping them grow their technical and product skills within a culture of curiosity and ownership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into well-defined technical solutions that balance innovation with practicality.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their applicability to our platform and long-term vision for the revenue stack.
• Ensure that delivered solutions meet high standards for performance, security, and maintainability in a production-grade environment.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining clarity of direction and execution for complex initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization at Reevo.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, aligning stakeholders around shared outcomes.
• Help build the technical foundation that enables revenue teams to operate faster, smarter, and more collaboratively, directly supporting go-to-market motion orchestration.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience owning and delivering large engineering initiatives from ideation through execution, with a clear track record of driving projects to production.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade systems that support high-velocity revenue operations.
• A proven track record of driving high-impact technical projects and delivering meaningful business outcomes in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where requirements evolve.
• Experience working cross-functionally across technical and business teams to achieve shared objectives, including collaboration with product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
• Proficiency in relevant backend technologies and the ability to learn and apply new tools and frameworks as needed to support Reevo's evolving architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity without clear precedents, making sound technical decisions with incomplete information.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts, trade-offs, and roadmaps to diverse stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineers.
• A commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices in software engineering, testing, and deployment to ensure long-term platform health.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder, technical co-founder, or early engineering leader who has shaped product and technology direction in a growth-stage environment.
• Previous experience mentoring engineers and supporting their career growth within a high-performing, collaborative engineering organization.
• Experience at an AI-native startup where innovation, rapid iteration, and experimentation are central to the product and technology strategy.
