In this Junior Business Travel Consultant role, you own the end-to-end experience of our corporate clients by ensuring their travel needs are met with precision and care. You own the responsibility of translating client requirements into accurate travel solutions that uphold policy and deliver value. Key facts
What you'll do
Coordinate bookings for flights, accommodation, and ground transportation for domestic and international business travel.
Manage travel requests for a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering a high level of personalised service and timely responses.
Prepare detailed travel quotations and verify that all bookings align with client travel policies and internal guidelines.
Support Senior Consultants with complex travel booking requests, itinerary management, and documentation.
Utilise all available booking resources and tools to develop proactive, cost-effective travel solutions that meet client needs.
Ensure all travel itineraries meet Duty of Care obligations, providing secure and compliant travel arrangements.
Respond to client enquiries via phone and email with professionalism and speed, consistently exceeding service expectations.
Adhere to internal and client-driven service level agreements while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and quality in all outputs.
Leverage technology systems to input, modify, and track travel reservations, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Assist in the administration of travel documentation, including invoices, receipts, and reconciliation records where required.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of travel processes by identifying efficiencies and suggesting practical enhancements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and confirm travel arrangements without disruption.
Maintain current knowledge of travel regulations, security updates, and industry trends to support informed decision-making.
Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns to cover operational hours from 8am to 8pm on a shift rotation basis.

Previous experience in customer service or a client-facing role is required to ensure readiness for operational demands.
Experience within the travel industry or knowledge of corporate travel processes is expected as a baseline for success.
Familiarity with GDS systems would be beneficial, particularly Sabre, with full training provided to reach competency.
Understanding of corporate client requirements and the ability to adapt service delivery to meet those needs is necessary.
Passion for travel and the travel management industry is a core requirement to sustain motivation and client empathy.

This role operates on a shift rotation basis within the hours of 8am to 8pm, requiring flexibility to cover business and peak travel periods.
