Position Specifics
Redhorse Corporation is leading modernization efforts regarding how federal agencies utilize data and technology. We are specifically seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME). This individual will provide direct support to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)) Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer.
The specific work environment is the OUSW(I&S) Innovation and Data (INSID) organizational unit. This team operates with urgency to challenge stagnant methodologies. You will be responsible for reshaping the development, governance, and implementation of intelligence and data capabilities throughout the Defense Intelligence and Defense Security Enterprise (DISE).

The annual compensation package is valued between $170,000 and $200,000 USD.

Your work will involve constructing robust data frameworks that convert unstructured signals into organized intelligence for investigative units. You will assess artificial intelligence outcomes alongside operational specialists and then record the underlying reasoning for future compliance reviews. You will deploy dependable monitoring interfaces that track potential threats using coherent visual strategies. You will coordinate with protective security units to ensure technical designs adhere to classified information protocols. You will implement rigorous data validation procedures to stop inaccuracies from influencing strategic choices. You will negotiate entry into historical systems while maintaining absolute adherence to regulatory compliance standards. You will instruct peers on straightforward techniques so they can refine models autonomously without persistent support. You will analyze massive data repositories to identify subtle patterns that indicate emerging risks or opportunities. Requirements
Possession of an active Secret security clearance with the ability to acquire Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. You must demonstrate a proven capability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. You will need to show a documented history of four years involving direct work with machine learning operationalization. Technical proficiency in the Python programming language is mandatory for handling large and dynamically changing datasets. You must possess the capacity to discuss technical trade-offs with leadership personnel using accessible language and minimal technical terminology. Effective management of concurrent project streams without neglecting essential components is essential. Dedication to rapidly mastering new instruments when project standards change mid-engagement is required. Strict adherence to data privacy laws and Department of Defense information handling regulations is non-negotiable.
