About the role
We are hiring a Senior Signals Specialist to join our Technical Solutions department. You will act as a primary technical advisor for advertisers, helping them integrate and optimize ad signals to improve performance outcomes. In this capacity, you will own the strategic and technical oversight of signal implementations that drive measurement accuracy for our advertising ecosystem. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data collection and event tracking align with industry standards and client expectations. The role requires a deep commitment to solving complex data integrity challenges while maintaining a consultative presence for high-value accounts. You will be responsible for shaping the technical narrative around measurement quality and reliability for our partners. This position demands ownership of the full lifecycle of signal integration, from initial discovery through long-term optimization and governance.

What you'll do
- Assume the role of subject matter expert for advertiser signal integrations, with a primary focus on pixels and CAPI.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to evaluate the current tech stacks and data collection practices of our advertisers.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for CAPI, including configuration, implementation, and thorough validation.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance and debugging procedures to ensure event data remains accurate, complete, and free of duplicates.
- Formulate strategic advice concerning event design, data mapping, and holistic measurement strategies.
- Lead investigations into signal discrepancies, addressing issues such as data loss, attribution gaps, and event mismatches.
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear and actionable communication for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Work in collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams to resolve advertiser blockers and identify recurring technical trends.
- Author and maintain internal playbooks and best practices to refine our signal support workflows and operational excellence.
- Drive the adoption of standardized procedures for signal verification and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Act as the escalation point for intricate signal-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation that supports both internal teams and client education initiatives.
Requirements
- Bring a minimum of 7 years of professional experience within ad tech or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrate practical, hands-on experience with partner integrations, pixels, and CAPI implementations.
- Show a deep understanding of ad signals, including data pipelines, attribution models, and event-based measurement.
- Prove the ability to work directly with external clients in a consultative or technical capacity, building trust and credibility.
- Exhibit strong skill in troubleshooting complex technical issues within frontend systems and digital measurement environments.
- Display the capability to translate intricate technical concepts into language that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates a comparable level of expertise.
- Possess a foundational knowledge of measurement frameworks and the role of signals in digital advertising ecosystems.
- Show commitment to maintaining data integrity and compliance within client implementations.
- Demonstrate ownership of technical outcomes and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks before they escalate.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Bring a mindset oriented toward continuous learning and adaptation in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.

Practical notes
- This position requires working from our Los Angeles office 1 to 2 days per week.
- Compensation includes base salary, restricted stock units, and potential commission.
