About the role
The Senior Customer Activation Manager within Partnerships at Ramp owns the end-to-end activation and expansion of key partner customers. You are accountable for driving adoption and realizing value for partner ecosystems through strategic engagement and operational execution. This role requires you to act as a trusted advisor who bridges complex product capabilities with distinct partner business models. You will manage critical relationships within Accounting, Private Equity, and Venture Capital segments to ensure alignment with partner strategic goals. Success in this position is measured by your ability to translate partner input into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams. You will architect the partner onboarding experience and establish the implementation framework that scales across the network. Collectively, your work enables customers to achieve a 5% reduction in spend and a 16% revenue increase in their first year with Ramp. Ultimately, this position ensures that Ramp's intelligent financial layer delivers its intended value to every ambitious organization we serve.

Orchestrate end-to-end activation workflows for partner customers across Accounting, Private Equity, and Venture Capital verticals.
Architect the partner onboarding experience by developing education on Ramp's integration and configuration capabilities.
Translate partner input into actionable requirements for product and engineering teams to drive platform enhancements.
Manage relationships with key partner segments to ensure strategic alignment and long-term value realization.
Act as a strategic advisor who deeply understands partner business models, objectives, and operational constraints.
Ensure partners and their customers achieve complete and efficient adoption at scale through structured implementation frameworks.
Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex integration and configuration challenges during the activation lifecycle.
Surpass quotas and key performance indicators by consistently exceeding expectations in partner engagement outcomes.
Anticipate partner needs and position appropriate Ramp solutions to maximize adoption and retention within their organizations.
Navigate a dynamic, fast-moving environment with high adaptability to shifting partner priorities and market conditions.
Leverage Ramp's product rationale to communicate its origin effectively to executive and operational stakeholders.
Build and refine partner success processes that establish the foundation for the Ramp Partnerships program.
Maintain meticulous documentation of partner interactions, feedback, and adoption metrics to inform strategic decisions.
Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing partner relationships to drive incremental value and growth.
Champion Ramp's value proposition by demonstrating measurable outcomes such as reduced spend and increased revenue for partner customers.
Requirements
Bring a minimum of five years of documented success in Partner Success roles with measurable outcomes in managing partner ecosystems.
Demonstrate fluency in partner operations and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams on complex implementations.
Possess strong project management skills to meet aggressive deadlines and manage multiple concurrent activation initiatives.
Communicate with exceptional clarity during executive briefings and operational discussions across all partner levels.
Master Ramp's product capabilities and effectively communicate the rationale behind product design and feature development.
Maintain a history of surpassing quotas or key performance indicators in previous roles.
Anticipate partner needs and proactively position solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Adapt quickly to a dynamic, fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous work with accounting partners in Private Equity or Venture Capital is valued as relevant domain experience.
Experience building new team structures and defining operational frameworks from the ground up is an asset for this role.
Familiarity with platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial for integration discussions.
Background in financial services sales and high-growth startups is preferred to understand pressure-driven environments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
Strong analytical skills are necessary to interpret adoption metrics and derive insights for continuous improvement.
A proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in situations with limited precedent or incomplete information.
