What you'll do

• Lead the quality assurance team in developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to define quality metrics and benchmarks.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage across various platforms.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and train QA team members, promoting best practices in testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and quality metrics for transparency and accountability.
• Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance the quality assurance process and improve overall team performance.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new QA team members, ensuring alignment with the company's quality vision and values.
• Act as a key point of contact for quality-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to internal teams and external partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance practices, integrating relevant innovations into the team's workflow.
• Foster a culture of quality within the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of quality assurance principles across all levels.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QA strategies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and usability testing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using QA tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar platforms.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Certification in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
• Experience in leading teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools and environments.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is advantageous.
• Experience in data-driven testing and analytics.
