Pricing Expert
Job description
About the role
We are seeking a Pricing Expert to join our newly created Pricing & Packaging team and play a central role in executing our pricing and packaging strategy across European markets. In this role, you will own pricing initiatives from initial preparation through full rollout, ongoing rework, and future planning cycles. You will work at the strategic interface between product, product marketing, finance, and R&D to ensure pricing decisions are coherent with our broader business objectives. Your contributions will directly influence revenue growth and profitability as we scale across multiple countries. You will help build the governance and frameworks that make pricing disciplined and repeatable as Qonto expands. This is an opportunity to define the future of pricing at a fast-growing European fintech and shape how we capture value for our customers and the business.
Key facts
What you'll do
Lead end-to-end ownership of pricing and packaging projects, covering preparation, execution, rework, and next-phase planning.
Collaborate directly with product, product marketing, finance, and R&D stakeholders to embed pricing considerations at the right strategic level.
Establish and evolve the governance framework for pricing decisions, ensuring they are fit for purpose as the company scales into new products and markets.
Define and drive the pricing roadmap, aligning it with Qonto's overarching strategic priorities and revenue ambitions.
Move beyond project execution to shape the strategic direction of the pricing function, including problem selection and how pricing connects to broader monetization goals.
Use AI tools to accelerate modeling, analysis, and documentation, while setting standards for when and how to leverage these technologies effectively.
Act as a fluent English communicator working with stakeholders across Europe, maintaining clarity and alignment within an international environment.
Champion data-informed recommendations, structuring ambiguous problems and arriving at defendable conclusions.
Ensure pricing frameworks remain scalable and coherent as Qonto introduces new offerings and enters new markets.
Act as a thought partner to leadership, articulating where the pricing function should focus its efforts to maximize impact on revenue and customer value.
Support the design and refinement of pricing models that reflect market realities and our value proposition across segments.
Translate high-level strategy into actionable steps that the Pricing & Packaging team can execute with clarity and ownership.
Build trust with cross-functional partners by demonstrating rigor, transparency, and a solutions-oriented approach to pricing challenges.
Continuously monitor competitive and regulatory dynamics, incorporating relevant insights into pricing decisions and long-term planning.
Help cultivate a culture where pricing is seen as a strategic lever rather than a purely administrative activity.
Requirements
You have led or significantly contributed to a full pricing exercise, including segmentation, packaging, price setting, or monetization, ideally within a SaaS context.
You possess sharp analytical thinking, capable of structuring ambiguous problems, working through data, and landing on a recommendation you can defend.
You are strategic and governance-minded, able to step back from tactical requests to understand underlying rationale and design processes that simplify future decision-making.
You are fluent in English and able to work daily with stakeholders across Europe within an international setting; additional languages are a beneficial asset.
You are AI-fluent, using artificial intelligence tools to speed up modeling, analysis, and writing while actively exploring smarter ways of working.
You understand the importance of building scalable governance frameworks that can evolve as the company grows and enters new markets.
You have a track record of influencing stakeholders without direct authority, relying on logic, clarity, and evidence.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift and where ownership is expected at every level.
Nice to have
Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
Background in consulting or working at a strategy or pricing-focused role in a multinational corporation.
Familiarity with financial modeling and monetization frameworks relevant to subscription products.
