About the Role
Join PubMatic's Customer Success team in EMEA and play a key role in helping leading publishers maximise the value of our platform. You will own the end to end success of key publisher relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and ensuring their expectations are consistently met. In this position, you will translate complex technical workflows into clear, actionable steps that drive platform adoption and long term value. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align product capabilities with publisher goals and support revenue growth initiatives. What you'll do
- Own publisher account set up and manage Tier 1 omnichannel accounts on the PubMatic platform, ensuring configuration aligns with client objectives.
- Deliver seamless technical integrations, coordinating with engineering teams to complete projects on schedule and to a high standard of quality.
- Provide responsive, high quality support within defined SLAs, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues through systematic investigation.
- Proactively analyse account performance data, identifying trends and opportunities to increase yield while delivering actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to design and deliver tailored implementation plans that address specific publisher needs.
- Manage and update internal systems such as Salesforce and JIRA with precision, maintaining accurate records for client interactions and project status.
- Respond to and resolve integration issues, discrepancies, and brand safety escalations in a calm, professional, and timely manner.
- Generate and interpret performance reports, transforming complex data into clear client insights that support strategic decision making.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding publisher priorities and identifying growth opportunities that support revenue targets.
- Serve as a technical advocate for publishers, bridging gaps between product capabilities and real world execution requirements.
- Monitor campaign health and operational metrics, escalating potential risks before they impact publisher revenue or user experience.
- Document standard operating procedures and best practices to enable consistent delivery across the EMEA region.
- Coordinate cross functional workshops and alignment sessions to ensure all teams share a clear understanding of client expectations.
- Support the rollout of new platform features and updates, guiding publishers through change management with minimal disruption.
Requirements
- Experience in programmatic advertising, including roles involving Header Bidding, ORTB, RTB/PMP, or interaction with ad networks.
- Familiarity with Supply Side Platforms, Prebid wrappers, and ad servers such as Google Ad Manager is beneficial for managing complex implementations.
- Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated experience working large, complex datasets to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and derive insights.
- Confidence using Excel for advanced analysis, reporting, and the creation of dashboards that communicate performance clearly.
- Understanding of web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript, along with debugging tools like browser consoles, Charles, or Fiddler, is advantageous for troubleshooting integration issues.
- Ability to manage simultaneous responsibilities including onboarding, client support, and ongoing performance optimisation without compromising quality.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences across the organisation.
- A structured, detail oriented approach combined with a collaborative mindset, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
- Willingness to work within PubMatic processes and frameworks, following governance standards while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive publisher data in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Readiness to travel within the EMEA region as required to support key clients and attend strategic meetings.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving product capabilities in a high growth SaaS environment.
Practical notes
This role operates under a hybrid working policy, with employees working three days in the office and two days remotely. Compensation details indicate an On Target Earnings range of £60,000 to £70,000, reflecting PubMatic's commitment to transparent and competitive pay in alignment with EU pay transparency legislation. The position is based in London, Great Britain, and requires readiness to travel within the EMEA region when necessary to support key publisher accounts.
