What you'll do
- Design and develop advanced optical fiber link systems for quantum computing applications, ensuring high fidelity and low loss in transmission.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in optical fiber design and telecommunications, with a proven track record in developing high-performance optical systems.
- Strong understanding of fiber optics principles, including waveguides, coupling, and signal transmission.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as COMSOL, OptiFDTD, or similar tools for modeling optical systems.
- Experience with testing equipment such as optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs) and optical spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fiber optics and telecommunications.
