What you'll do
- Design and develop hardware components for quantum computing systems, focusing on high-performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to integrate hardware and software solutions effectively.
- Conduct simulations and modeling to predict the performance of hardware components under various conditions.
- Lead the development of test plans and procedures to validate hardware functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during the development and testing phases.
- Oversee the fabrication and assembly of hardware prototypes, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware design engineering, with a focus on complex systems.
- Proficiency in hardware design tools such as CAD software and simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
- Experience with FPGA design and verification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with quantum computing principles and technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from conception to completion.

- Experience in developing hardware for high-frequency or RF applications.
- Knowledge of thermal management techniques in hardware design.
