What you'll do

• Design and develop hardware components for quantum computing systems, focusing on high-performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineering teams to integrate hardware and software solutions effectively.
• Conduct simulations and modeling to predict the performance of hardware components under various conditions.
• Lead the development of test plans and procedures to validate hardware functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during the development and testing phases.
• Oversee the fabrication and assembly of hardware prototypes, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware design engineering, with a focus on complex systems.
• Proficiency in hardware design tools such as CAD software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
• Experience with FPGA design and verification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with quantum computing principles and technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from conception to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing hardware for high-frequency or RF applications.
