What you'll do

• Assist in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is captured in our order management system.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve any order-related issues, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
• Monitor order status and provide timely updates to customers regarding their orders, including shipping and delivery information.
• Support the inventory management team by tracking stock levels and notifying relevant parties of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Participate in the documentation and reporting of order management metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Help maintain accurate records of customer interactions and order history in our database.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements within the order management workflow.
• Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of order management practices and tools used in the industry.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management, summarizing order management activities and performance.
• Work closely with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure alignment and support for order fulfillment processes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and customers professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Basic understanding of order management processes and supply chain principles is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Availability to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of three months.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about the order management field.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or work experience in a related field, such as logistics or customer service.
• Familiarity with order management software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and principles.
