Strategy Finance Intern

PropHero seeks a Strategy Finance Intern to anchor our financial operations. This role offers a unique vantage point into corporate finance, investment strategy, and international operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring our financial records are precise, our reporting is insightful, and our operational efficiency is continuously improving. The position is based in Madrid. The compensation for this six-month internship is 33,000 EUR.

Your Core Mission

You will serve as a critical financial partner across the business. Your primary responsibility is to manage the end-to-end finance workflow, ensuring accuracy and integrity from data input to final reporting. You will own key financial processes, providing the analysis and control necessary for smart decision-making. This includes driving daily invoicing, managing treasury interactions, and safeguarding the financial data that underpins our growth. You will also play a key role in supporting our international operations, particularly in Indonesia and Bali.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily contributions will directly impact our scalability and financial health. The following tasks define your impact:

• Managing the full invoicing cycle and treasury coordination for renovation projects.
• Executing rigorous controls over entity administration and banking documentation to ensure compliance.
• Leading the preparation and reconciliation of quarterly financial reports for our Indonesia and Bali entities.
• Creating sophisticated data organization and visualization models in Excel to support cross-departmental analysis.
• Ensuring the absolute integrity of client payment records and group profit & loss and balance sheet data.
• Smoothly handling account opening procedures and banking authorization correspondence.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline administrative and accounting workflows.
• Providing essential support for cashflow and profit & loss forecasting, as well as monthly closing cycles.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to organize data and build visualization tools.
• Hold a completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Be based in Madrid or Valencia with the flexibility to work in a hybrid model, splitting time between home and the office.
