Digital PR Growth Manager
Job description
About the role
You will define and execute the Digital PR strategy that makes Preply visible, trusted, and chosen across German-speaking, Polish, and Italian markets. You will adapt the global playbook into locally resonant campaigns that leverage data, earned media, and product-led stories to build an authority moat in search and LLMs. You will own end-to-end reputation management, using insights to shape narratives that drive measurable visibility and trust. You will lead agency relationships and coordinate with SEO, Content, and Product to ensure campaigns are aligned and impactful. You will track competitor moves, algorithm shifts, and LLM behaviour to recalibrate tactics with precision and speed. You will document outcomes and learnings to elevate the global Digital PR standard for future expansion. Joining Preply means shaping the future of education at scale while working in a human-led, tech-enabled environment that values impact and collaboration.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Drive measurable improvements in Preply's visibility in Google Search and LLM-driven discovery across DE, PL, and IT through an impact-based approach focused on outcomes.
- Own the end-to-end Digital PR & Reputation playbook and operations for these markets, adapting the global strategy to local dynamics, competition, and audience behaviour.
- Design and execute data-driven DPR campaigns and link magnet initiatives that strengthen domain authority and improve visibility in search and LLM recommendations.
- Monitor and manage online reputation across key platforms in European markets, coordinating responses that build consistent brand trust over time.
- Lead agency relationships and manage market-level budgets with a performance mindset, setting clear KPIs and optimising spend toward authority and visibility outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, SEO, Brand, and Product teams to adapt global assets into locally relevant campaigns grounded in a working understanding of local ICPs.
- Track market shifts, algorithm updates, LLM behaviour, and competitor activity, then recalibrate tactics with informed urgency to protect Preply's authority.
- Contribute to the development of the Digital PR playbook by documenting learnings, sharing what works by market, and raising execution standards across European territories.
- Use insights from performance data to iterate on campaigns, prioritising high-impact activities that deliver sustainable visibility and trust.
- Partner with local teams to ensure campaigns reflect cultural nuances, language preferences, and regional expectations without inventing new positioning.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Digital PR, earned media, or online reputation with a track record of building brand authority that translates to measurable search or visibility impact.
- Experience owning or contributing to multi-market strategies and comfortably adapting an established playbook or building strategy from scratch in markets with limited prior structure.
- Solid understanding of how earned coverage, link acquisition, and reputation signals feed into Google Search rankings and LLM recommendability.
- Proven ability to manage agency relationships and budgets with rigour, defining scope, setting expectations, tracking delivery, and course-correcting as needed.
- Collaborative by default, able to align cross-functional teams across SEO, Content, Brand, and Product around joined-up campaigns that move the needle on authority.
- Critical thinker who operates well in markets in constant flux, distinguishes signal from noise, adapts quickly, and keeps execution disciplined under ambiguity.
- Experience working in or researching DE, PL, or IT markets is a strong advantage; language skills are not a requirement as we are hiring for the person, not the language.
- Comfortable using data tools and platforms to measure impact, draw insights, and communicate results to stakeholders with clarity.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills to coordinate timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders across regions.
- Committed to learning and development, engaging with internal resources and external opportunities to continuously strengthen Digital PR capabilities.
