The Stronger Change Office is an affiliate-driven health care transformation office designed by, for, and with the affiliates. As Associate Director for Stronger Business Innovation and Sustainability, you will help lead work that makes the broader Planned Parenthood enterprise stronger, more sustainable, and better positioned for the future. This is a strategy and operations leadership role focused on business innovation, long-term financial sustainability, and the practical transformation of how affiliates operate. You will work across a unionized, full time telecommuter environment and collaborate with affiliates, national staff, and external partners to move initiatives forward with measurable results.

What you'll do
- Lead initiatives that strengthen the business model and long-term sustainability of the Planned Parenthood enterprise.
- Develop and execute strategies for business innovation that align with the priorities of affiliate organizations.
- Partner with affiliates to identify opportunities for operational improvement and shared services.
- Build frameworks, tools, and playbooks that help affiliates adopt new business practices successfully.
- Track progress against sustainability goals and report clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration across affiliates so that successful approaches are shared and scaled.
- Advise on resource allocation, financial planning, and operational decisions tied to transformation work.
- Engage vendors, consultants, and partners to support innovation and sustainability projects.
- Align the Stronger Change Office's work with broader organizational strategy and priorities.
- Develop communications and training materials that help teams understand and adopt new practices.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the changing health care landscape and respond proactively.
- Represent the Stronger Change Office in internal forums and external relationships as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in operations, strategy, or business innovation roles, ideally in complex organizations.
- Strong project and program management skills with a record of delivering measurable results.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to work across affiliates and national teams.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate high-level goals into concrete work plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level updates.
- Comfort working remotely and managing initiatives across multiple time zones.
- A commitment to reproductive health care access, equity, and the mission of Planned Parenthood.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics and confidential information with professionalism.
Nice to have
- Experience in non-profit or health care transformation work.
- Background in financial modeling, budgeting, or business case development.
