What you'll do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine naval operational architecture frameworks that enhance system performance and mission effectiveness.

• Participate in industry conferences and workshops to represent Bamboohr and share insights on naval operational architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in naval engineering, systems architecture, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of naval operational concepts, systems engineering principles, and architectural frameworks.
• Proficiency in modeling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software.
• Experience with software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with relevant military standards and regulations, including those related to naval operations and systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, or autonomous systems, as they pertain to naval applications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices as they relate to naval systems.
• Previous experience working with U.S. Navy or other military organizations.
