What you'll do

• Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities within the enterprise and AI sectors, providing valuable insights to inform investment strategies.
• Evaluate startup business models and technologies, assessing their potential for growth and alignment with Plugandplaytech Center's investment thesis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine pitch materials and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and venture capitalists to foster a network within the startup ecosystem.
• Participate in due diligence processes, including financial analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating pitch events, workshops, and networking sessions that connect startups with potential investors and partners.
• Monitor portfolio companies post-investment, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their growth objectives.
• Prepare and present reports on market developments, investment performance, and emerging technologies to senior management and the investment committee.
• Stay informed about advancements in AI and enterprise solutions, continuously updating knowledge to enhance investment decision-making.
• Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including articles, white papers, and presentations that highlight trends and insights in the AI and enterprise landscape.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote Plugandplaytech Center's initiatives and successes in the venture capital space.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to venture capital and technology trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related field, with a focus on technology investments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in enterprise settings is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
