What you'll do

• Collaborate with startups to understand their business models, challenges, and needs, providing tailored support and resources.
• Assist in organizing and executing events, workshops, and networking sessions that connect entrepreneurs with industry experts and potential investors.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes that can inform strategic decisions for startups.
• Support the development of pitch decks and presentations for startups preparing to seek funding or partnerships.
• Engage with corporate partners to understand their innovation goals and facilitate connections with relevant startups within our network.
• Monitor and report on the progress of startups in our program, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the Plugandplaytech Center, ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for all participants.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and content that showcases the success stories and innovations emerging from our community.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance our offerings and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, including investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection process for new startups joining our program, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in technology and entrepreneurship to provide valuable insights to our team and partners.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, with a strong interest in startups and innovation.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a relevant role, such as business development, consulting, or project management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough research and present findings in a concise manner.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with the startup ecosystem and an understanding of the challenges faced by early-stage companies.

Nice to have

• Experience in organizing events or workshops, particularly in a tech or entrepreneurial context.
• Knowledge of fundraising processes and investor relations, including experience with pitch preparation.
• Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools to enhance team productivity.
• A network of contacts within the startup or tech community, including potential mentors and investors.
• Previous experience working in an incubator or accelerator program is a plus.

Skills & tools

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel or Tableau, to support market research efforts.
• Experience with CRM systems to manage relationships and track interactions with startups and partners.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms to assist in outreach efforts.
