What you'll do

• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and potential investment opportunities within the technology sector, particularly focusing on AI and related fields.
• Analyze business models, financial statements, and operational metrics of startups to assess their viability and growth potential.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and partners to prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for internal discussions and external stakeholders.
• Participate in due diligence processes, including interviews with founders, customer references, and industry experts to validate business assumptions.
• Assist in the development of strategic recommendations for portfolio companies, helping them refine their business strategies and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and market conditions.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent Plugandplaytech Center and build relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Support the management of relationships with existing portfolio companies, offering guidance and resources to help them achieve their milestones.
• Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, such as blog posts and reports, to enhance Plugandplaytech Center's visibility in the venture capital landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment in strategic initiatives and company goals.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in venture capital and startup ecosystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA or similar) are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
• Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques, with experience using tools such as Excel and financial databases.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience in the technology sector, particularly in AI, SaaS, or other emerging technologies.
