The successful candidate will mentor junior artists by providing clear direction and actionable feedback. Your work will be visible across player touchpoints, influencing first impressions and long-term brand perception. What you'll do
Convert mood boards and market analysis into concrete game art concepts that drive new projects from initial ideation to final delivery. Produce game symbols, characters, and promotional materials that position Playson art at the forefront of the competitive iGaming market. Refine artwork through iterative team and stakeholder feedback loops so that every title sets trends rather than follows them. Contribute strategic ideas within the Playson Art Community and actively absorb inspiration from peers to ensure creative output remains fresh and relevant. Apply product thinking to every visual task so that each asset supports clear business impact and key performance indicators. Conduct visual audits of existing assets to identify opportunities for optimization and rebranding based on performance data. Partner with marketing and product teams to ensure visual assets are technically compliant, on-brand, and ready for rapid deployment across multiple channels. Explore emerging trends in color, typography, and animation to inject modernity into slot game interfaces and promotional campaigns. Own the visual storytelling for specific game titles, defining the look and feel that communicates the core player promise. Balance artistic excellence with the constraints of production pipelines to deliver high-quality work on schedule, every time.
Requirements
The posting states a bachelor's degree requirement in a relevant field such as Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Game Design; please Bring a minimum of 5 years of professional 2D art experience specifically focused on slots games and casino environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of the genre. Use industry-standard Photoshop and similar raster tools with expert-level proficiency, while foundational 3D experience in programs like Blender or Cinema 4D counts as a significant bonus. Demonstrate a strong, instinctive grasp of color theory, composition, lighting, human anatomy, and the ability to work convincingly across varied art styles, from realistic to cartoony. Favor a classical art education background to build an unshakeable foundation in drawing, perspective, and color principles that inform modern digital techniques. Take full ownership of the creative process from concept to completion, working seamlessly with multidisciplinary professionals including designers, producers, and copywriters. Communicate design solutions clearly and engage in candid, transparent discussions that sustain a positive, collaborative team atmosphere. Give and receive constructive feedback in an open, proactive culture that actively welcomes new ideas, change, and continuous improvement. Act as a true senior artist who owns the entire process and adopts a product-focused mindset in every task, ensuring visual decisions always align with strategic business objectives.
Nice to have
Experience hearing continuous feedback from domain experts, data analysts, and marketing specialists and rapidly translating that feedback into strong, executable product outcomes. A demonstrated history of working within the iGaming or regulated gambling industry, understanding the specific compliance and creative restrictions of the sector. Proficiency in additional digital tools such as vector software, animation suites, or UI design platforms that can expand the range of deliverables.
Practical notes
Work is based in the European Union with remote flexibility; candidates must be located within the region to comply with visa and tax regulations. Portfolio review is a mandatory step in the hiring process, and applications without a portfolio will not advance to further consideration. Typical interview steps for this role include a portfolio review, a campaign exercise, and analytics questions to assess strategic thinking. Candidates may be asked to plan a launch, write a creative brief, or improve an existing visual funnel to test problem-solving abilities. Some interview loops include a final presentation to the hiring team. Results from past campaigns and existing portfolio pieces carry the most weight during the evaluation phase. Interviewers will ask about specific campaigns you have run and the concrete numbers or outcomes they produced. Preparing a short case study of one successful campaign with its results and learnings is the strongest preparation for this position.

The position offers flexible schedules and unlimited paid leave to support a healthy work-life balance.
