Channel Sales Manager
Job description
About the role
Plaud is seeking a dedicated Channel Sales Manager to spearhead the expansion of our market presence across Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, and Poland. This strategic position is designed to deepen our footprint in key European territories by establishing and nurturing high-impact partnerships. Your primary mission will be to drive sustainable sales growth for our AI-powered professional tools, directly supporting our overarching goal of amplifying human intelligence through innovative hardware and software. This role demands a proactive leader who can act as a strategic bridge between our corporate objectives and the on-the-ground realities of the channel. You will be responsible for translating global ambitions into localized success, ensuring that our partner ecosystem is robust, competitive, and profitable. The position requires a high level of autonomy and strategic thinking to navigate complex market dynamics and establish Plaud as a preferred partner in these regions.
What you'll do
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of channel sales across your assigned European territories, ensuring alignment with and support for overall corporate revenue targets. A core responsibility will be developing and implementing a comprehensive channel sales plan tailored to the specific dynamics of Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, and Poland, with a clear focus on hitting quarterly and annual revenue goals. This involves identifying and qualifying new partner opportunities, conducting thorough market fit analyses, and assessing the potential impact on our evolving product ecosystem. You will serve as the key negotiator, structuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with Plaud's long-term strategic priorities while empowering partner success. Collaboration will be central to your role, as you work closely with marketing teams to localize campaigns, ensuring all messaging is culturally resonant and effective within each regional market. You will leverage AI tools to analyze sales performance metrics and partner activity, uncovering actionable insights that drive continuous improvement and optimize ROI. Providing expert guidance, training, and enablement to partners on Plaud's AI tools and value propositions will be essential to empower their sales teams. Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations will be a constant priority. You will proactively resolve partner challenges and escalations, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates. To stay ahead of the curve, you will monitor competitor activity in the region and adjust channel strategies accordingly to maintain a distinct competitive edge. You will report regularly on channel health, forecast accuracy, and business outcomes to senior leadership, providing transparent and data-driven insights. Working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams will be crucial to incorporate valuable partner feedback into future product iterations. Ensuring strict compliance with local regulations and Plaud's global standards in all sales activities is mandatory. You will also support the creation of tailored sales materials and compelling case studies that address specific market needs, acting as the primary point of contact for all channel partners in your regions.
Requirements
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience managing regional marketing initiatives or adapting global strategies for comprehensive campaigns. A demonstrable track record of successful collaboration with creative or media agencies is essential. You must bring strong communication and execution skills to the table, with the proven ability to complete projects and business initiatives effectively and efficiently. Comfort and proficiency in using AI tools to enhance productivity, analysis, communication, and business operations are not optional but required in this modern role. Expertise in managing full-cycle campaigns that deliver measurable business results is a strict requirement. Additionally, you should have prior experience working in a B2B environment, specifically focusing on technology or SaaS products, to understand the unique sales dynamics involved. The ability to work independently with strong ownership and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is mandatory. A results-driven mindset with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding targets is expected as standard practice.
Nice to have
While not mandatory, experience in audio hardware or voice technology is preferred, given Plaud's core product areas. Familiarity with the specific challenges and nuances of bootstrapped, high-growth companies is advantageous, as is a proven understanding of key compliance frameworks. Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, GDPR, EN18031, and HIPAA compliances is considered a plus for ensuring seamless operations. Direct experience in sales operations or business development roles within European markets is preferred, as it provides context for navigating regional commercial landscapes effectively.
