About the role
PitchBook is on the lookout for a Revenue Operations Analyst to enhance our team, which plays an essential role in shaping the company's market strategies. This position is centered around converting data into practical insights that facilitate informed decision-making across multiple departments such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance. What you'll do
- Oversee the creation and management of weekly and monthly sales performance reports, focusing on pipeline metrics, achievement rates, and tracking progress. You will be responsible for the comprehensive process of Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), which includes developing narratives and executive-ready dashboards.
- Design and sustain executive-level OKR and revenue dashboards that reflect the entire go-to-market funnel and post-sale lifecycle, ensuring uniform definitions and reporting standards for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate marketing funnel performance, assess campaign return on investment (ROI), and perform lead routing and distribution evaluations, along with territory design and capacity planning for global offices.
- Partner with the Customer Success team to analyze data related to customer lifecycle, retention, and expansion, generating and interpreting reports from Salesforce, Marketo, and Gong to provide actionable insights.
- Lead the forecasting process across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, managing the cadence, inputs, scenario assessments, and translating findings into business narratives.
- Proactively generate insights linked to business impact, identifying critical questions before they arise.
- Validate hypotheses from operational, field, or finance leaders through comprehensive analysis that confirms, challenges, or reframes initial inquiries.
- Advocate for data quality, governance, and KPI consistency across revenue systems, pinpointing opportunities for automation and advanced analytics in collaboration with data science teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Go-To-Market Operations, Marketing Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure analytics initiatives align with commercial goals.
- Embody and promote the company's vision and values by modeling and encouraging desired behaviors within the team.
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or finance operations is necessary.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with B2B go-to-market strategies and revenue metrics, including pipeline health, funnel conversion, retention, expansion, and forecasting; experience with Salesforce reporting is crucial, while knowledge of Marketo or Gong is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create user-friendly dashboards and engaging visualizations that aid business leaders in comprehending performance and making informed, data-driven decisions across various analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL with practical experience in querying large datasets in modern data platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery; the ability to navigate complex, high-volume data is essential.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex data for senior stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and technical teams.
- A genuine interest in AI-driven analytics and intelligent automation, with an openness to adopting new tools and technologies.

- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, including but not limited to Salesforce, Marketo, Gong, and SQL.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance practices.
