What you'll do
- Oversee the sales performance reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, managing the entire process for Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), including the development of executive-level dashboards.
- Create and maintain executive dashboards that track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and revenue, ensuring consistency in the definitions of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting methodologies.
- Conduct thorough analyses of marketing funnels, evaluate campaign return on investment (ROI), and perform lead distribution and territory planning analytics across PitchBook's global offices.
- Partner with the Customer Success team to assess customer lifecycle metrics, retention rates, and expansion opportunities, generating insightful reports using Salesforce, Marketo, and Gong.
- Manage the forecasting process across various departments, overseeing input management, scenario assessments, and translating analytical findings into coherent business narratives.
- Identify and highlight insights that correlate with business impacts, proactively anticipating inquiries that stakeholders may not have previously considered.
- Validate hypotheses put forth by operational, field, or finance leaders, providing comprehensive analyses that either confirm or challenge initial assumptions.
- Champion data quality and consistency across revenue systems while identifying opportunities for automation and advanced analytics in collaboration with data science teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, Go-To-Market Operations, Marketing Operations, and other business stakeholders to ensure that analytics align with commercial objectives.
- Embody the company's vision and values by demonstrating desired behaviors and engaging in various company initiatives as required.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Finance is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in revenue operations, sales, marketing, or finance operations is essential.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, either now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with B2B go-to-market strategies and revenue metrics, including pipeline health, funnel conversion rates, retention, and forecasting; experience with Salesforce reporting is crucial, while knowledge of Marketo or Gong is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to design intuitive dashboards and visualizations that help business leaders understand performance and make informed decisions across various analytics platforms.
- Proficient in SQL with experience querying large datasets in contemporary data environments such as Snowflake or BigQuery; the ability to navigate complex, high-volume data is vital.
- Strong communication skills, capable of distilling complex data into understandable formats for senior stakeholders, with a keen instinct for cross-functional collaboration.
- A genuine interest in AI-driven analytics and intelligent automation, with a readiness to embrace new tools and technologies.
