We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance how users save and organize content across our core features. This role involves shaping the end-to-end saving journey for all users, from their initial interactions to ongoing content curation. The Senior Product Manager will own the complete lifecycle of the saving experience, identifying opportunities and solving complex problems that span multiple teams and user intents. You will be responsible for ensuring that saving feels intuitive, valuable, and central to the Pinterest experience. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance user needs with business objectives. You will partner closely with engineering and design to build solutions that drive meaningful engagement with saved content. Ultimately, this role is about fostering lasting user habits around saving and organizing ideas.

What you'll do
- Develop and guide the product strategy and roadmap for the primary saving experience, covering new user engagement, ongoing saving actions, and related organization tasks across key platform areas.
- Define the strategy to improve how new users save content, aiming to increase first-time save conversions, early repeat saves, and initial board creation to foster lasting user habits.
- Lead the product direction for new and sparsely populated boards, ensuring users find value in creating and managing boards even with limited content.
- Leverage data, research, and experimentation to understand user saving, organizing, and action-taking behaviors, translating these insights into straightforward and effective product designs.
- Manage a roadmap driven by experimentation to reduce friction in saving processes, enhance the quality of saved items, and increase engagement in subsequent user actions.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to introduce AI-powered features that make saving and boards more practical and actionable, such as intelligent organization, content summarization, and planning assistance.
- Define and own core metrics for the saving experience, establishing clear success indicators and monitoring product health over time.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of user behavior to identify drop-off points and areas for improvement within the saving flow.
- Partner with research teams to conduct user interviews and usability studies to gather qualitative context for quantitative findings.
- Work with design partners to prototype and test new saving interactions, ensuring concepts meet user needs before full implementation.
- Advocate for the saving experience within cross-functional discussions, aligning stakeholders on priorities and product vision.
- Ensure that product deliverables meet high standards of quality, clarity, and consistency across the Pinterest ecosystem.
- Identify opportunities to leverage infrastructure and existing tools to accelerate product development and experimentation.
- Communicate progress, roadblocks, and key decisions to stakeholders through clear documentation and verbal updates.
- Evaluate the success of launched features using A/B tests and observational studies to inform future iterations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and scaling consumer products, with a focus on user activation, engagement, or retention.
- Strong product intuition and user understanding, with a history of launching impactful user-facing features in core areas like saving, collecting, or feed experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to define product strategies, set clear goals and metrics, and execute experiment-driven roadmaps that achieve significant business outcomes.
- A data-centric approach, with experience partnering with data science teams, instrumenting metrics, analyzing A/B tests, and making informed decisions based on evidence.
- A track record of using AI to improve workflow efficiency and output quality, with a history of evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work for accuracy and correctness.
- High standards of integrity and ownership; you will protect sensitive information, exercise caution with AI reliance, and maintain accountability for all final decisions and deliverables.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication abilities, bringing clarity, alignment, and progress across Engineering, Design, Research, and other partner teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Data, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary range for US-based applicants: $139,764 - $287,749 USD. The position is also eligible for equity.
This role requires in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter and can be based anywhere in the US.
