About the role
The VP, Revenue will own the commercial strategy and execution for a portfolio company specializing in ERP reselling and implementation within Pine Services Group. This leader will partner directly with the CEO to drive scalable revenue growth and expand the company's established market position. The role involves full ownership of the sales, marketing, and account management organization to build a high-performance commercial engine. The selected candidate will define the go-to-market strategy, generate demand, and install robust sales processes to capture new business opportunities. A key focus will be on developing a repeatable, metric-driven sales process that drives predictable pipeline and revenue across existing and new markets. The VP will also manage key partner relationships to increase co-selling activity and inbound lead flow while ensuring the customer success organization leverages its tenured base for expansion. This position requires active engagement with open opportunities and personal deal ownership to provide leadership to the broader sales team.

What you'll do

- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing commercial talent to build a strong and resilient sales team.
- Design and implement a repeatable, metric-driven sales process across the entire funnel, from lead generation to closed deals.
- Manage pipeline development and lead generation strategies to drive new logo acquisition and expand revenue within the existing customer base.
- Assume quota accountability at both the team and individual levels while setting clear activity and performance expectations.
- Manage key partner relationships with a mandate to increase co-selling activity and inbound lead flow through structured programs.
- Build and execute a demand generation strategy that ensures marketing investments produce predictable pipeline and measurable results.
- Report directly to the CEO and provide regular visibility into forecast, pipeline health, and team performance with strong data discipline.
- Maintain personal deal ownership on select opportunities to demonstrate leadership and provide hands-on guidance to the sales team.
- Lead the 90-day planning process to achieve a clear command of the current pipeline, deal stages, and near-term targets.
- Engage actively in open opportunities to provide deal-level leadership and coaching to the sales organization.
- Develop and execute initial product-level growth strategies focused on the ERP reselling and implementation market.
- By the 12-month mark, ensure the sales process is defined, documented, and executed consistently across the team.
- Drive aggressive demand generation and new closed deal targets while expanding the customer base to generate measurable pipeline contribution.
- Provide the CEO with full metric-driven visibility and confidence in forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and team performance.
Requirements
- Must possess ERP sales and team management experience with a proven track record of sustained quota achievement.
- Demonstrate a collaborative leadership style that aligns with a people-first culture and fosters team development.
- Have built full-funnel operating models that improved revenue performance in previous roles.
- Show a strong command of pipeline metrics, forecasting methodology, and CRM discipline to manage complex sales cycles.
- Operate effectively as a player-coach, balancing personal deal responsibility with team leadership and development.
- Exhibit a history of scaling B2B software businesses through structured sales and partnership motions.
- Maintain a results-driven mindset with the discipline to execute against aggressive revenue targets.
- Display excellent communication and influencing skills to lead cross-functional stakeholders and partner organizations.

- Demonstrated familiarity with AI-enabled sales and marketing tools and a clear point of view on how these tools can accelerate results.

Practical notes
This is a remote position. The compensation package includes a base salary plus bonus over a defined period.
