The owns the design, build, and deployment of AI-powered planning solutions for strategic customers, ensuring seamless translation of complex business problems into scalable models. This individual will implement end-to-end AI capabilities within Pigment, leveraging advanced logic and agentic workflows to drive real-time business agility. They act as a critical bridge between customer needs and internal Product and Engineering teams, shaping the future of planning through direct feedback and innovation. The role demands ownership of customer success by guiding best practices and maximizing value from the platform. They will prototype experimental solutions, iterate based on real-world feedback, and establish repeatable frameworks for deployment. Collaboration is central, as they work across engineering, data, and customer success to solve emerging challenges. Ultimately, this position defines how organizations transform their planning processes using Pigment's AI at scale.

What you'll do
Build and deploy AI-powered planning models using Pigment, translating ambiguous business requirements into structured, scalable solutions.
Design, construct, and operationalize custom AI agents that align with customer workflows, decision-making processes, and strategic objectives.
Own the full implementation lifecycle for Pigment AI capabilities, ensuring successful deployment and adoption for key strategic accounts.
Partner directly with business and technical stakeholders to deconstruct complex problems and engineer data-driven planning workflows.
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on optimal modeling practices, feature utilization, and long-term platform strategies.
Translate intricate customer needs into clear product requirements, specifications, and technical documentation for internal teams.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Solutions Architects, and Product Management to refine solutions and prioritize development.
Develop and test prototypes for emerging use cases, iterating on agent-based planning and automation to validate feasibility and impact.
Enable customer teams through training on Pigment features, modeling best practices, and scalable system design principles.
Define and evangelize repeatable deployment patterns and frameworks that standardize AI implementation across diverse customer environments.
Monitor adoption metrics and feedback loops, identifying opportunities to enhance product capabilities and user experience.
Drive innovation by experimenting with new AI methodologies and integrating them into practical planning and performance management scenarios.
Bridge technical complexity with business value, ensuring solutions are intuitive, robust, and aligned with client strategic goals.
Contribute to the evolution of Pigment's AI roadmap by synthesizing customer insights and emerging market needs.
Requirements
Engineering or computer science degree from top tier institution is mandatory for this role.
Candidates must possess 2-5 years of experience in technical, client-facing, or implementation roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Data Scientist.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, particularly in the domains of data modeling, analytics, and business logic design.
Proficiency with core concepts such as formulas, logic, and structured modeling is non-negotiable for success in this position.
Programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages are considered a significant advantage during the evaluation process.
Familiarity with SaaS platforms, planning tools, APIs, data pipelines, and system integration concepts is essential.
The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously within fast-paced, dynamic environments is required.
Prior experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial modeling, or business planning workflows is a strict eligibility criterion.
Previous exposure to Pigment or similar planning platforms is necessary to ensure rapid onboarding and effectiveness.
Additional European language skills outside of English are mandatory for this position due to regional requirements.
Nice to have
A background in FP&A, financial modeling, or established business planning workflows is strongly preferred for candidate consideration.
Direct prior experience with Pigment or analogous planning platforms significantly increases selection priority.
Proficiency in additional European languages outside of English is listed as a preferred qualification for this role.
