Learning Operations Manager
Job description
About the role
Operations Orchestration at Pigment
The Position
We are seeking an Operations Orchestration lead to define the architecture of execution at Pigment. This position is central to how we intake demand, standardize construction, and release decision-ready planning products. You will own the operational framework that allows our platform to serve customers such as Unilever, Snowflake, Siemens, and DPD with precision and reliability. The role requires a fluent translator who connects technical builds with business outcomes to ensure every workflow supports confident choices across the organization.
This position is based in our Paris office. It is a full-time role designed for an operator who thrives on structuring complexity. The selected candidate will report into the People Operations leadership and work closely with Finance, Product, and Engineering pods.
Compensation and Benefits
The target annual compensation for this position is between 130,000 and 160,000 EUR. This package reflects the scope of responsibility and the impact of the role within a high-growth, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will architect the intake lifecycle, establishing clear steps that clarify requirements before any build commences. This initial scoping is vital for reducing rework and aligning expectations across departments.
You will define and implement build routines that transform raw data into coherent analytical models with speed and accuracy. This involves creating repeatable patterns that our teams can rely on during every planning cycle.
You will own the review discipline that aligns stakeholders and identifies risks at the earliest opportunity. By driving structured review practices, you ensure that plans are validated and robust before they advance.
You will enable shipping cycles that move plans from initial draft to decision-ready status. This involves managing workflow states and removing bottlenecks that delay value delivery.
You will construct and maintain the partner pathways that tightly integrate finance, human resources, and operations. This connectivity is the backbone of our cross-functional execution model.
You will champion guardrails that allow experimentation while remaining within approved boundaries. These guardrails protect data integrity and ensure compliance without stifling innovation.
You will orchestrate testing sequences that validate changes prior to release. This rigorous approach to quality ensures that every update meets our high standards for performance and stability.
You will maintain documentation trails that capture the rationale behind decisions. This record-keeping is essential for future audits and for onboarding new team members.
Required Qualifications
You bring a minimum of three years of experience in operations or related disciplines. Your background should include managing multiple systems while ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
You possess strong written communication skills that enable clear messaging across teams and levels. Your ability to translate ambiguity into structured plans is a key asset.
You demonstrate adaptability in methods when requirements shift during execution. You navigate change without losing sight of the primary objectives.
You have a working understanding of planning tools and how models connect to underlying data. This technical literacy allows you to collaborate effectively with builders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI-driven planning platforms and performance management solutions is a significant advantage. Familiarity with the nuances of modern SaaS billing and resource planning tools will accelerate your contribution.
Core Tools and Technologies
You will use Python to automate workflows and manipulate data structures.
You will write SQL queries to extract insights and validate dataset integrity.
You will use Airflow to schedule and monitor complex data pipelines.
You will utilize dbt to transform data and ensure consistency in the semantic layer.
You will manage data within Snowflake, our primary warehouse platform.
You will build dashboards in Tableau to visualize performance and track key metrics.
You will operate within GCP infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
