What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with the creative team to conceptualize and develop video content that aligns with Pgl's vision and goals.
• Edit raw footage into compelling video narratives that capture the essence of our gaming events and promotional materials.
• Utilize advanced editing software to enhance video quality, including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work with voiceover artists and sound designers to create a polished final product that meets project specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve editing techniques and storytelling methods.
• Assist in the creation of promotional videos for social media platforms, ensuring content is optimized for various formats and audiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for video content that engages and entertains our viewers.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on video drafts, collaborating with team members to refine and enhance the final product.
• Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files for easy access and reference.
• Ensure all video content adheres to copyright laws and licensing agreements.
• Contribute to the development of Pgl's video content strategy, aligning with marketing initiatives and audience engagement goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives through visual content.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and aesthetics.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across various departments.
• A passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming community is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with live streaming and video broadcasting tools.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content distribution.
• Familiarity with sound design and audio editing software.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment.
