About the role
Perk is actively searching for a new leader to manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who will focus on expanding our reach in growth markets. This position is ideal for someone stepping into management for the first time, as it involves guiding a group of eight outbound SDRs in their efforts to generate sales leads. You will work closely with upper management to enhance strategies and streamline processes, playing a crucial role in the company's growth trajectory. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of outbound prospecting, ensuring that the team's activities align with the broader commercial objectives of the organization. You will foster an environment where data-driven decisions and consistent coaching drive performance improvements. This role requires a balance of empathetic leadership and operational rigor to build a high-performing function. What you'll do
Lead the design and execution of outbound prospecting campaigns for target accounts in growth markets, translating business objectives into actionable tasks for the SDR team.
Develop and maintain a robust playbook of scripts, sequences, and best practices that the SDR team can utilize to optimize outreach and conversion rates.
Analyze pipeline metrics and key performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and implement data-backed adjustments that improve team productivity.
Provide consistent coaching and feedback to individual SDRs, helping them refine their techniques and overcome specific challenges in the sales cycle.
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure that messaging, collateral, and target lists are aligned with the latest market insights and value propositions.
Own the administration of the CRM, ensuring that all activities are accurately logged and that data hygiene standards are upheld to support forecasting accuracy.
Forecast pipeline generation and report on team performance to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, risks, and recommended interventions.
Drive the testing of new communication channels and methodologies, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and discover scalable outreach strategies.
Act as the primary point of contact between the SDR team and senior management, articulating the team's needs, wins, and strategic recommendations.
Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions and encouraging the adoption of industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in all external interactions.
Identify opportunities for process automation and tool optimization to reduce manual workload and increase the team's capacity for high-value activities.
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new SDRs, participating in interviews and helping to integrate new hires into the team effectively.
Establish clear goals and performance benchmarks for the SDR team, providing transparent tracking of progress against these objectives.
Champion the adoption of new technologies and frameworks that enable the SDR function to operate at peak efficiency in a competitive landscape.
Requirements
You possess a proven track record of success in sales or business development roles, with at least five years of experience in a B2B environment.
You have managed a team of at least eight sales representatives, demonstrating your ability to lead, motivate, and develop talent.
You hold a Bachelor's degree or possess equivalent practical experience that demonstrates a comparable level of expertise.
You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, which is essential for communicating with international clients and stakeholders.
You have hands-on experience using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, to manage pipeline and report on performance metrics.
You are proficient in utilizing AI tools and platforms, showing an ability to integrate them into sales processes to improve efficiency.
You have a deep understanding of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, and closing techniques that apply to growth markets.
You reside within commuting distance of a Barcelona hub, allowing for a hybrid work arrangement that includes three days in the office per week.
You exhibit strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data sets to drive strategic decisions and optimize sales operations.
You bring a mindset that is open to new technologies, particularly AI, and eager to explore how these tools can enhance sales productivity.
