About the role
Join Perk as an Account Manager for the DACH region, focusing on longtail accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships, and resolving any challenges that arise. Your primary goal will be to drive the commercial success of your accounts by leveraging your understanding of Perk's Travel and Spend products. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they maximize the value of the platform while identifying opportunities for growth and retention. This position offers the chance to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer support and contribute to the ongoing development of Perk's solutions.

What you'll do
- Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of longtail accounts, covering Perk's Travel and Spend solutions.
- Proactively manage client relationships by understanding their needs, goals, and challenges, and providing tailored support to ensure satisfaction.
- Respond promptly and effectively to inbound inquiries, issues, or support requests from clients, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Advocate for clients internally within Perk, representing their needs and feedback to product, sales, and support teams.
- Identify opportunities within your accounts for expansion, upselling, and increased engagement, aligning these opportunities with the company's growth objectives.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Perk's products and platform features to guide clients in maximizing their travel, spend, or combined benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, product, and support to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing account success.
- Monitor account health metrics, usage patterns, and client satisfaction levels to identify areas for improvement and proactively address potential issues.
- Provide clients with insights and best practices to optimize their use of AI and other technological tools for research, outreach, and customer interactions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions, account activities, and follow-up actions within CRM or relevant systems.
- Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates on account statuses.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and processes for account management within the team.
- Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and enhancements, ensuring the platform continues to meet client needs.
- Support clients in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, outreach, and customer engagement.
- Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, demonstrating account performance and growth opportunities.
- Engage in continuous learning about new features, industry trends, and competitive offerings to better serve clients and grow expertise.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, insights, and successful strategies with colleagues.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and the renewal process to ensure long-term retention.
- Actively participate in client meetings, webinars, and training sessions to strengthen relationships and promote platform adoption.
Requirements
- Native or advanced proficiency in German language.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong customer focus and commercial mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks across multiple accounts effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust with clients and internal teams.
- Eagerness to utilize AI and technological tools to enhance work efficiency and client impact.
- Basic commercial understanding to recognize growth signals and opportunities within accounts.
- Motivated to learn new skills and adapt to evolving platform features and client needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing insights and supporting colleagues.
- Experience in account management, customer success, or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of SaaS platforms and solutions is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development initiatives.
