About the role
Pebl provides a global platform for companies to manage international hiring and compliance. You will own the full employee lifecycle for clients, orchestrating seamless transitions from offer to integration and ultimately offboarding. The role demands you act as a regional operational expert, ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will advise clients on complex payroll, benefits, and expense reporting nuances with confidence and clarity. Maintaining robust client relationships will be a core part of your daily collaboration with the client services department. You will be the guardian of process integrity, meeting resolution time SLAs and driving fast, satisfying onboarding timelines. A significant portion of your impact will come from auditing HR records to guarantee data integrity and legal soundness. Finally, you will contribute directly to product development and internal knowledge bases, helping to shape the tools that define our service offering.

What you'll do
- Orchestrate the complete onboarding and offboarding journey for international hires, synchronizing closely with payroll and immigration partners to ensure document accuracy and timely execution.
- Serve as the regional expert for client stakeholders, providing detailed guidance on payroll processing methodologies, global benefits structures, and expense reimbursement policies.
- Partner with the client services team to uphold relationship health, acting as a single point of contact for operational queries and ensuring alignment across departments.
- Rigorously monitor adherence to resolution time SLAs, implementing proactive measures to reduce onboarding cycle times and elevate overall client satisfaction metrics.
- Conduct thorough audits of employee HR records, including signed contracts, personal identification documents, and tax forms, to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Continuously track updates to local employment legislation and collective bargaining agreements, assessing their operational impact and integrating changes into standard procedures.
- Facilitate the training of new team members, delivering structured onboarding sessions and contributing practical insights to product documentation and the internal knowledge base.
- Lead root cause analysis for recurring operational issues, mapping process flows and coordinating cross-functional resolutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Standardize documentation and process checklists to ensure consistent execution across multiple client engagements and geographical jurisdictions.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to verify that all client-specific instructions are translated into accurate, actionable operational steps.
- Develop and maintain detailed process maps that visualize the end-to-end employee lifecycle, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends in onboarding delays or offboarding complexities, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership for process improvement.
- Act as the primary escalation handler for complex employee lifecycle events, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and with minimal client disruption.
- Champion best practices in HR operations, promoting a culture of excellence, accuracy, and continuous learning within the onboarding function.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or demonstrate equivalent professional experience through a robust work history.
- Bring 4-6 years of hands-on experience in the HR field, with a proven track record of managing complex employee lifecycle processes.
- Possess advanced knowledge of employment law, including nuances related to hiring, termination, and statutory compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
- Exhibit business proficiency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored for professional client interactions.
- Show a high attention to detail, with the ability to independently research complex issues and derive accurate solutions without constant supervision.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to handle conflict and resolve sensitive issues professionally, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Have a strong commitment to data privacy and confidentiality, adhering strictly to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Be highly organized, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Display strong analytical skills, enabling you to interpret process metrics and drive decisions based on factual insights.

Nice to have
- Previous experience in Employer of Record (EOR) or HR Outsourcing environments, providing familiarity with multi-client platform operations.

Practical notes
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract on company payroll. It includes statutory benefits and the standard India benefits package offered to full-time staff, such as flexible time off, parental leave, health and dental insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
