About the role
You will own the product-market fit story for your assigned area and shape how we bring it to market with strategic clarity and execution excellence. In this role, you are responsible for writing the narrative that connects market trends, customer pain points, and competitive gaps to our company-level positioning and long-term vision. You will act as the strategic architect of messaging frameworks and scalable PMM systems that enable other teams to align on differentiated value propositions and market readiness. You will leverage AI as a strategic lever to design intelligent workflows that synthesize customer data and competitive signals into executive-ready insights. You will lead cross-functional customer segmentation and persona evolution to ensure precision targeting across all buyer stages. You will own end-to-end GTM strategy for your product area, from launch sequencing to sales readiness and market measurement. You will serve as the executive influencer who translates complex capabilities into clear, compelling stories that drive revenue strategy and product decisions.

What you'll do
- Conduct deep market and customer research to uncover unmet needs, behavioral shifts, and emerging opportunities that inform strategic positioning.
- Architect scalable messaging frameworks that empower Sales, Product, and Customer Success to communicate a unified and differentiated story.
- Design and implement AI-powered intelligence workflows that turn raw data from Gong, competitive sources, and internal analytics into actionable GTM insights.
- Define and refine ideal customer profiles and segmentation models to guide targeting, product positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
- Lead end-to-end product launches by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and ensuring alignment on positioning, messaging, and success metrics.
- Translate technical product capabilities into business outcomes and value propositions that resonate with executive and economic buyers.
- Partner with Sales to build battle-tested playbooks, objection handling guides, and proof points that increase conversion and win rates.
- Establish measurement frameworks that connect product marketing outcomes to revenue, retention, and brand equity KPIs.
- Use AI-assisted research and synthesis tools to maintain a continuous, real-time pulse on market dynamics and competitor moves.
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate roadmap insights into marketable narratives and go-to-market sequences.
- Mentor and elevate other marketers by sharing frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that raise the standard of execution.
- Navigate complex cross-functional initiatives with empathy and transparency, aligning Sales, Product, Enablement, and Customer Success around shared goals.
- Anticipate market inflection points and recommend proactive adaptations to messaging, positioning, and GTM approaches.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert on product-market fit, advising leadership on product direction and customer impact.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, including time in a senior or lead contributor role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Demonstrated experience owning and executing full-cycle, multi-stakeholder product launches from strategy to measurement.
- Strong strategic instincts with the ability to connect product capabilities to business outcomes, pricing, and packaging.
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence without direct authority, working effectively with Sales, Product, and executive leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated track record of crafting compelling narratives for sophisticated business audiences.
- Experience building and scaling messaging frameworks and PMM systems that enable teams to operate at a higher level.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and data must inform rapid decisions.
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS buying committees, personas, and the customer journey across multiple industries.

- Experience with AI tools for research, synthesis, and workflow automation in a marketing or product context.
- Background in compensation, pay, or workforce analytics markets, or familiarity with pay transparency and pay equity trends.
- Prior work in highly regulated or compliance-sensitive environments where messaging must balance clarity and precision.
