The Global Organic Social Lead will own and orchestrate Payjoy's organic social presence across all markets in a strategic, cross-market leadership capacity. This role is not focused on content execution but rather on governance, orchestration, and ensuring that organic social efforts directly support business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong brand sensibility combined with a data-informed approach to impact, the ability to lead external agencies across multiple markets, and the autonomy to operate with a truly global scope.

What you'll do
- Set the strategic direction for organic social across all global markets and define brand voice standards that resonate locally
- Unify the organic social presence across multiple regions to build consistent brand equity and awareness for Payjoy worldwide
- Guide and govern external agencies in each market to ensure their work aligns with Payjoy's overarching brand strategy
- Connect organic social activities to measurable business outcomes such as brand equity growth and demand generation across markets
- Develop frameworks that allow local teams to adapt content creatively while maintaining global brand coherence and consistency
- Monitor performance data and social analytics to inform strategic decisions and improve the overall impact of organic efforts
- Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and data science to align social strategy with broader business goals
- Own the planning and execution calendar for organic social campaigns across all target markets and customer segments
- Establish governance processes for content approval, quality standards, and brand consistency to ensure a unified global voice
- Report on organic social performance metrics regularly and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience leading organic social strategy at a global or multi-market brand with proven results
- Demonstrated success managing external agencies across different regions, cultures, and time zones to deliver consistent outcomes
- Strong brand sensibility with the ability to define, maintain, and evolve a unified voice across diverse markets
- Data-informed mindset with hands-on experience using social analytics and performance metrics to drive strategic decisions
- Experience connecting social media efforts to tangible business outcomes such as brand awareness, consideration, and demand generation
- Deep understanding of organic social platforms and their respective audiences, particularly in emerging market contexts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in marketing, communications, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Ability to operate with significant autonomy in a cross-market leadership role while maintaining global strategic alignment

- Experience working in emerging markets or with under-served customer populations in financial services and credit products
- Familiarity with machine learning, data science, or AI applications in marketing and credit decision-making processes
- Prior experience at a Public Benefit Corporation or mission-driven organization focused on financial inclusion and access
- Background in point-of-sale financing, fintech, or financial inclusion products serving new-to-credit customers in developing economies
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in organic social platform management including Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and Instagram for content distribution
- Experience with social analytics and management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or native platform reporting dashboards
- Knowledge of brand governance frameworks and agency management best practices for multi-market creative operations
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools for tracking social performance and sharing insights with stakeholders
- Understanding of credit and financial services regulatory environments in emerging markets across Latin America and beyond
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with multilingual ability considered a valuable asset
Practical notes
- This role is based in Mexico City, CDMX and requires regular on-site presence at the local Payjoy office
- The position reports to the global marketing leadership team and involves close collaboration across multiple time zones
- Candidates should expect regular coordination with external agencies in various emerging markets as part of daily responsibilities
