About the role
PatientPoint is seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead the development, management, and growth of the Precision product, which is focused on patient engagement and pharmaceutical brand activation. This role is on-site in the United States and involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to ongoing optimization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the product vision, creating strategic roadmaps, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet client needs while adhering to healthcare regulations and privacy standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, and compliance, to drive product success and foster innovation within the healthcare technology space. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence how healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies engage with patients through personalized, data-driven solutions.

What you'll do
- Develop and articulate a clear, compelling product vision for the Precision platform that aligns with PatientPoint's overall strategic goals and market opportunities. This includes understanding customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to position the product effectively.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and business objectives. Regularly update stakeholders on progress and adapt plans as necessary to respond to evolving needs.
- Lead the design and development of solutions that enhance personalization and effectiveness of patient engagement campaigns, ensuring they deliver measurable outcomes for clients and end-users. This involves translating customer insights into actionable product features and improvements.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to build strong business cases for new product offerings or features, clearly articulating value propositions to pharmaceutical advertisers and healthcare providers. Work with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and messaging.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including discovery, validation, development, launch, and ongoing optimization. Ensure that all solutions are operationally feasible, compliant with healthcare regulations, and privacy standards.
- Promote best practices in product discovery, Agile development, and data-driven decision-making across teams. Mentor and influence peers and stakeholders to adopt modern product management methodologies.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure the technical feasibility of features and that solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Identify opportunities for product differentiation within the broader PatientPoint platform, leveraging unique features, data insights, or integrations to create competitive advantages.
- Engage directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, provide product expertise, and foster strong relationships that support product adoption and success.
- Monitor product performance through KPIs and analytics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and iterating on features to enhance engagement and outcomes.
- Ensure that all product solutions meet healthcare industry standards, including regulatory and privacy compliance, ITAR considerations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Advocate for user-centric design principles, ensuring that solutions are accessible, intuitive, and meet the needs of diverse user groups.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading complex products at a senior level.
- Demonstrated success in scaling B2B healthcare technology, digital health, health media, or related regulated sectors.
- Deep understanding of healthcare personalization, audience segmentation, and privacy-safe activation strategies within regulated environments.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize market, technical, and financial data to inform strategic decisions and product direction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and with external partners.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and privacy considerations relevant to healthcare technology products.
- Experience managing product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and delivering solutions on time and within scope.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, product discovery techniques, and data analytics tools.
- Ability to navigate complex technical environments and translate technical concepts into business language.

- Experience with advanced product management frameworks, such as Lean Startup, Design Thinking, or Jobs-to-be-Done.
- Mentoring or coaching experience within product teams, fostering growth and best practices.
- Familiarity with healthcare ITAR regulations and other legal standards impacting healthcare products.
- Exposure to healthcare marketing, patient engagement strategies, or pharmaceutical advertising.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in digital health, personalized medicine, or healthcare data analytics.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of data analytics and performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs relevant to healthcare engagement.
- Familiarity with healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other compliance standards.
- Ability to leverage data insights to inform product decisions and optimize user engagement.
- Experience with Agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
