What you'll do

• Formulate and implement a design strategy specifically tailored for expert-oriented workflows, ensuring that usability is at the forefront.
• Work in close partnership with product managers, engineers, and AI specialists to ensure alignment on user requirements, technical possibilities, and business objectives.
• Strive to maintain an equilibrium between user-friendliness and sophisticated features, allowing expert users to efficiently navigate complex configurations.
• Spearhead UX projects within your designated product area, leveraging research insights to guide both short-term and long-term design choices.
• Develop prototypes and explore advanced interaction models for workflows and AI orchestration, pushing the boundaries of design.
• Actively contribute to the design process while mentoring your team to enhance the overall quality of deliverables.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that will inform design improvements and innovations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design decisions are grounded in technical feasibility and user needs.
• Create comprehensive design documentation to support the development process and facilitate clear communication among team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually refine and enhance the design approach.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in designing with AI tools, including the use of generative design for prototyping or testing adaptive user experiences.
• Proven ability to create tools that require extensive configuration, ensuring clarity and ease of use for the end-user.
• Strong systems thinking skills, capable of structuring complex workflows that involve multiple roles and dynamic logic.
• Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers to meet product objectives and influence strategic direction.
• Proficiency in interaction and visual design, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to manage complex interfaces effectively.
• A research-driven mindset, grounded in user research, usability testing, and data-informed decision-making.
• Technical skills that enable effective collaboration with engineers and product managers.
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities, essential for aligning and inspiring cross-functional teams and leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in developing human-AI interaction models that emphasize usability and transparency.
• Background in designing tools that support AI system management, such as workflow builders or agent configuration interfaces.
• Interest or experience in conversational interfaces, automation tools, or multimodal interaction design.
• Familiarity with design systems within a growing team context.
• Knowledge of voice technologies or telephony systems would be advantageous.
