About the role

This internship positions you as a core member of a diverse, generative, and creative team composed of Engineers, Product Designers, and fellow Deployment Strategists. You will own the synthesis of disconnected streams of thought to form a cohesive understanding of complex problems, data meaning, product requirements, and user motivations. Your daily work will focus on transforming vague hunches into concrete reality by determining where impact can be achieved. You will exercise a curious and analytical mindset while developing a sharp intuition for product direction and the language of data. Ultimately, you will operate with the understanding that humans must remain the final decision-makers in the loop.

What you'll do

Investigate onsite customer environments to dissect critical analytical questions and uncover the most significant operational struggles faced by stakeholders.

Construct a business case for accessing essential datasets while collaborating with Forward Deployed Engineers to build a stable and extensible data pipeline.

Design and lead interactive training sessions that verify the product meets a wide spectrum of user needs and drives concrete impact on partner operations.

Translate complex field observations into clear narratives and present results to audiences that span from frontline analysts to C-suite executives.

Work directly with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to inject field insights into the evolution of cross-Palantir product roadmaps.

Develop and deliver compelling demonstrations that illustrate the value proposition for both new and existing customers in high-stakes scenarios.

Research and scope potential engagements across new industries and an expanding array of global locations to identify novel applications.

Analyze intricate workflows using quantitative methods applied to large datasets to validate hypotheses and surface hidden patterns.

Synthesize user feedback and product metrics to iterate on deployment strategies that maximize adoption and operational efficiency.

Challenge existing assumptions about data usage by questioning established mental models and exploring unconventional connections.

Document findings and insights rigorously to ensure that knowledge is preserved and can be leveraged in future deployments.

Coordinate schedules and align priorities between technical teams and non-technical clients to maintain momentum on critical projects.

Evaluate the success of implemented solutions by defining key indicators and gathering evidence of tangible impact.

Adapt quickly to shifting project scopes and emerging information without losing focus on the overarching mission and desired outcomes.

Requirements

You possess extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments where the path forward is not immediately clear.

You have a strong educational background that has equipped you with the analytical tools necessary to deconstruct complex systems.

You communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, able to translate technical jargon into accessible language for diverse audiences.

Life at Palantir encourages in-person work at our offices to foster connectivity and innovation, although many teams may offer hybrid options (WFH a day or two per week). Remote work is only permitted for exceptional roles, and if you apply for such a role, you must work from the city and or country in which you are employed. Positions designated as Onsite require you to work from an office location.
