You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic funding projects, translating ambiguous problems into measurable implementation outcomes. The position requires building and maintaining relationships with investment banks, institutional investors, and rating agencies to align strategy with execution. You will lead efforts to track and enhance secondary market liquidity across ABS shelves while monitoring frameworks to inform executive reviews. The role involves constructing safe, AI-enabled capital markets workflows in partnership with internal technology teams to support enterprise objectives. You will define and drive the execution of capital markets funding strategies across Pagaya's enterprise initiatives.
You will lead cross-functional alignment to ensure funding strategies are implemented efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
You will manage investor and agency relationships to maintain confidence and support scalable funding solutions.
You will leverage data, ABS structures, and cash flow waterfall mechanics to inform decision-making and strategy.
You will partner with technology teams to automate and streamline reporting, monitoring, and decision workflows.

Requirements
Capital markets, structured finance, securitization, investment banking, corporate strategy, or related financial services experience of 7+ years is required.
Mastery of structured finance and debt funding concepts, including ABS, warehouse facilities, forward flow, private credit, and debt documentation, must be demonstrated.
Deep experience with consumer finance or fintech lending platforms and consumer ABS asset classes, such as personal loans, auto loans, credit cards, and BNPL, is necessary.
Intex, cash flow models, collateral performance analysis, and strong financial modeling capabilities must be applied to execute complex tasks.
The ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment is essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required.
Practical notes
The role is based in New York, and compensation is set at $175,000 minimum for New York-based hires.
