What you'll do
- Lead the product vision and strategy for the Member Coverage & Support Platform, ensuring it aligns with Oscar Health's overall objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to develop and launch new features that enhance member engagement and streamline support processes.
- Conduct market research and user testing to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring they meet the needs of our members.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing short-term goals with long-term strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product development and gathering feedback to inform future iterations.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to foster collaboration and ensure alignment across teams.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the product team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation within the member coverage and support space.
- Develop comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Advocate for the member experience in all product decisions, ensuring that solutions are user-centric and accessible.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to create effective communication strategies that promote new features and enhance member understanding.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products, with a focus on user experience and member engagement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use it to inform product decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
- A deep understanding of healthcare systems, insurance models, and member support processes.
