About the role
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to advance Oscar's strategic priorities for insurance products and emerging solution domains. This role focuses on supporting the development, execution, and optimization of innovative health solutions across Oscar's Individual and Family Plan (IFP) product portfolio. You will analyze market research, competitive data, and performance assessments to shape product strategy and recommendations. The position requires close collaboration with market leadership, actuarial, compliance, regulatory, and operational teams to ensure alignment and disciplined execution. You will translate enterprise and market priorities into actionable product initiatives while maintaining a focus on member experience, affordability, retention, and long-term product performance. You will report into the Vice President, Insurance Product Innovation and Development.

What you'll do
Coordinate and support the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance products and emerging solutions, including launch readiness, post-launch monitoring, and optimization efforts.
Analyze market research, competitive data sets, and performance assessments to develop insights and inform product strategy recommendations.
Identify growth opportunities by exploring lifestyle-oriented products, population-specific solutions, and adjacent offerings that align with Oscar's mission.
Partner with actuarial, finance, market leadership, and marketing teams to develop business cases, market insights, and data-driven product recommendations.
Track and analyze member, market, and performance data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for product optimization and improvement.
Support the development of product artifacts, documentation, and filings required for governance reviews and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate inputs and alignment across product, regulatory, actuarial, compliance, operational, and growth teams to ensure integrated execution.
Contribute to modular product design and portfolio consistency efforts across different markets and product lines.
Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across concurrent work streams to ensure on-time execution of product initiatives.
Document assumptions, decisions, and key learnings to maintain audibility and support future planning and product refinement.
Assist in preparing materials, analyses, and summaries for leadership discussions, governance reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Escalate risks, dependencies, and operational concerns in a timely manner and propose solutions-oriented approaches to cross-functional partners.
Support compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies during product development and execution.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership and stakeholders to advance product and innovation objectives.
Collaborate with data and analytics partners to interpret performance metrics and guide iterative improvements to products.
Contribute to the design and implementation of member engagement initiatives aimed at improving retention and satisfaction.
Support the evaluation and integration of emerging solutions that align with Oscar's long-term product vision.
Participate in structured prioritization exercises to ensure resources are directed toward the highest impact product opportunities.
Assist in maintaining a clear and transparent record of product decisions to enable effective communication across teams.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate product concepts and recommendations.
Show proficiency in analyzing data, identifying patterns, and deriving actionable insights from complex information sets.
Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
