What you'll do

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public policy, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory operations, compliance, or a related area within the healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant federal and state laws.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or within a health insurance organization.
• Familiarity with regulatory submission tools and compliance management software.
• Understanding of data privacy and security regulations as they pertain to healthcare operations.
• Certification in regulatory affairs or compliance (e.g., RAC, CHC) is a plus.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms to track progress and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to data analytics tools to assess compliance metrics and operational performance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
