What you'll do
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, ensuring all documentation meets compliance standards and deadlines.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of regulatory policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and reflect current laws and regulations.

- Track and report on key performance indicators related to regulatory operations, providing insights to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public policy, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory operations, compliance, or a related area within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant federal and state laws.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or within a health insurance organization.
- Familiarity with regulatory submission tools and compliance management software.
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations as they pertain to healthcare operations.
- Certification in regulatory affairs or compliance (e.g., RAC, CHC) is a plus.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms to track progress and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to data analytics tools to assess compliance metrics and operational performance.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
