What you'll do
Conduct end-to-end management of consulting engagements for financial services clients, ensuring alignment with project charters and stakeholder expectations.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to deconstruct business problems and uncover opportunities for measurable improvement.
Lead the discovery phase by conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, and performing extensive research to gather and document detailed business and process requirements.
Map and analyze current-state operations, customer journeys, and performance data to pinpoint critical gaps and prioritize improvement opportunities.
Design future-state operating models, target processes, and implementation roadmaps that are pragmatic, scalable, and aligned with client strategic objectives.
Create compelling visual presentations, detailed process maps, financial models, and executive-level reports that clearly articulate recommendations and value.
Own the development and maintenance of project plans, risk registers, and status dashboards to ensure rigorous tracking of timelines, decisions, and action items.
Act as a primary liaison between Optimus SBR and client stakeholders, representing the project team with professionalism and confidence in all interactions.
Proactively monitor industry trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics within the financial services sector to inform strategic insights.
Contribute to business development efforts by supporting the creation of proposals, pitch materials, and targeted research for new client opportunities.
Independently manage multiple workstreams, balancing competing priorities to meet firm and client deadlines without compromising quality.
Champion knowledge sharing within the team by documenting learnings and contributing to internal databases, playbooks, and best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Optimus SBR delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions and maximize collective expertise.
Embody the Optimus SBR culture by actively participating in internal committees, events, and learning initiatives that strengthen team cohesion.
Requirements
Bring a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in management consulting, financial services, business analysis, project delivery, operations, strategy, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the financial services landscape, including the nuances of banking, insurance, capital markets, payments, wealth management, and financial operations.
Apply strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills to break down ambiguity and transform complex information into clear, practical recommendations.
Leverage experience in conducting research, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, documenting requirements, and assessing end-to-end business processes.
Show proficiency in developing professional client-ready deliverables, including sophisticated presentations, detailed spreadsheets, and insightful reports.
Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats, adapting your style to engage with diverse audiences from entry-level to executive leadership.
Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and superior time management to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to have
Experience working with RegTech, InsurTech, or other financial technology implementations.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, IFRS 9, or other relevant standards.
