You build a durable product vision alongside cross-functional partners on a daily basis, aligning incentives and roadmaps to support retention and growth. This role drives retention and growth through careful experimentation and deep user insight, ensuring every decision is grounded in observed behavior. You lead ideation, development, launch, and scaling of innovative products and features that tangibly improve the financial lives of members. What you'll do
Setting the product north star and defining success metrics for savings initiatives that directly influence member behavior. Designing user flows that guide members toward stronger financial habits while reducing friction in the savings journey. Coordinating closely with engineering to transform concepts into working features that adhere to technical constraints and timelines. Reviewing performance data and iterating based on observed behavior to refine product interactions and outcomes. Shipping releases that enhance clarity, control, and outcomes for members across diverse financial contexts. Partnering with risk and compliance to align product rules with member needs and regulatory expectations. Translating research findings into practical product improvements that address real pain points and aspirations. Championing member stories to maintain focus on real financial outcomes during strategic discussions. Prioritizing work under constraints to maximize impact over time while balancing tradeoffs and stakeholder input. Defining and tracking key performance indicators to measure the success of savings products and experiments. Collaborating with data teams to ensure instrumentation accurately reflects member interactions and lifecycle stages. Leading discovery efforts to uncover new opportunities for savings products that support long term financial wellness. Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs to create compelling product narratives and decision frameworks. Managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through optimization, ensuring accountability for results.
Requirements
You have experience directing product strategy in financial services, with a focus on products that serve member needs. You can translate complex requirements into clear, actionable product specifications that engineering teams can execute. You bring three years of experience managing roadmaps for regulated products, understanding compliance implications. You communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences, articulating rationale and tradeoffs. You demonstrate comfort using data to validate hypotheses and inform decisions, balancing quantitative signals with qualitative context. You are comfortable working in ambiguous environments, making timely decisions with incomplete information while maintaining rigor. You have a strong sense of ownership, driving projects forward without direct oversight and aligning stakeholders around shared goals. You are proactive in identifying risks, whether technical, regulatory, or operational, and proposing mitigation strategies early.
Nice to have
Experience with savings, credit building, or cash flow products that require thoughtful balance between growth and risk. Familiarity with financial services regulations and how they impact product design and member interactions. Background in data analysis or experimentation frameworks to support evidence based decision making. Experience working with cross functional teams in a remote or hybrid environment, leveraging asynchronous communication effectively.
Practical notes
This role is based in the United States and requires candidates to be eligible to work in the country without sponsorship. Candidates located in Central or Eastern time zones are strongly preferred to align with team and stakeholder working hours. This position reports to the Vice President and General Manager for Savings and Mobile, who reports into the Chief Product Officer. Engagement is full time, with standard working hours aligned with collaborative sessions and delivery commitments.
