What you'll do

• Design and implement comprehensive security strategies utilizing Microsoft security products, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing security postures, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate remediation measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into existing IT frameworks, enhancing overall security posture.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate potential threats and ensure business continuity.
• Provide expert guidance on Microsoft 365 security features, including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender, and Intune, to optimize client environments.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for clients and internal teams on security best practices and the effective use of Microsoft security tools.
• Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, continuously evolving your skills and knowledge to better serve clients.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on security assessments, incidents, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on Microsoft security solutions.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 security, Azure security, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience with security incident response and vulnerability management processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation of security tasks is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, providing security services to a diverse client base.

Skills & tools
