About the role
OneTrust seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to support sales growth for its Data Privacy Compliance platform. This role owns the technical validation and demonstration of OneTrust's integration capabilities during critical sales cycles. You will act as the primary technical advisor, translating complex product features into clear, compelling value for enterprise decision makers. The position requires close collaboration with sales, R&D, and partner teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and product execution. You will evaluate competitive landscapes and articulate how OneTrust differentiates through its extensible architecture. A key responsibility is to design and deliver proof-of-concept evaluations that de-risk the adoption of the platform for large organizations. You will also contribute to shaping the long-term roadmap for integrations by providing direct feedback from the field. Ultimately, this role is pivotal in building trust with prospects and accelerating the sales cycle through technical excellence.

What you'll do
- Assume the role of the central technical authority for system integrations within complex, high-value sales opportunities.
- Author and present detailed proposals, RFPs, and tailored proof-of-concept scenarios that highlight OneTrust's integration strengths.
- Lead sophisticated technical discussions with architecture and security teams to design integrations that align with client infrastructure standards.
- Provide hands-on support to sales representatives during client meetings, offering clear integration design options and strategic guidance.
- Synthesize information from internal R&D, product, and partner teams to maintain current knowledge of features and upcoming roadmap items.
- Develop high-impact sales and marketing collateral that clearly communicates the value and feasibility of integration solutions.
- Manage and update all aspects of the sales cycle inside the Salesforce.com CRM, ensuring data integrity and forecast accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer requirements to map OneTrust capabilities against complex enterprise environments.
- Serve as a bridge between technical implementation teams and commercial stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
- Champion best practices for integration design, security, and scalability throughout the customer evaluation process.
- Support the creation of reusable assets, such as configuration guides and architectural diagrams, for future sales engagements.
- Engage in continuous learning of integration patterns and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in solution design.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to clarify integration scope, dependencies, and success criteria with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Represent OneTrust in technical review sessions, responding to detailed questionnaires and security assessment requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Bring 8 to 12 years of cumulative professional experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in technology or enterprise cloud software.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of selling, configuring, and conducting successful software demonstrations for sophisticated solutions.
- Show expertise in implementing software products and solutions within large, enterprise-scale client environments.
- Apply practical knowledge of REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, and CSS to evaluate and prototype solutions.
- Exhibit an advanced grasp of web applications, SaaS architecture models, cloud computing paradigms, and modern programming concepts.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with Research and Development, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering functions.
- Display a strong entrepreneurial mindset capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving organizational landscape.
- Commit to occasional international travel, with willingness to travel up to 25% to support key opportunities and client engagements.
- Adhere to OneTrust policies and procedures, ensuring consistent execution of sales processes and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively in English, both in written and verbal formats, to ensure clarity and precision with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex technical and commercial challenges during the sales cycle.
- Align with the company's ethical standards and compliance requirements in all professional interactions.

- Apply experience with PowerShell scripting to automate operational and integration tasks where appropriate.
- Utilize ASP.NET and C# knowledge to better understand backend services and integration touchpoints.
- Contribute expertise with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes, to discuss deployment architectures.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Docker and OpenShift to evaluate containerized deployment scenarios and integration workflows.
