About the role
You own the end to end engagement lifecycle for our most strategic operator and policy accounts within the National Capital Region. You translate complex military planning realities into clear software value and drive enthusiastic adoption of OneBrief across large defense and government organizations. You act as the primary customer advocate inside the building, synthesizing user feedback into product and commercial decisions that matter. You build deep trust with senior planners and policy analysts, becoming the advisor they call when mission critical problems arise. You operate comfortably in classified environments, ensuring all implementation work aligns with strict security protocols and facility access requirements. You proactively expand the footprint of successful deployments, identifying adjacent organizations and missions where OneBrief can deliver decisive operational clarity. You measure success through customer outcomes, retention, and the expansion of your portfolio over time.

What you'll do
Orchestrate complex implementation projects for flagship operator and policy accounts in the National Capital Region.
Translate ambiguous customer needs into precise software configurations, workflows, and training plans that drive rapid user proficiency.
Champion the user inside OneBrief, escalating insights to product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap for mission critical features.
Negotiate and manage expectations across stakeholders, ensuring alignment between customer demands, security constraints, and product capabilities.
Lead discovery sessions and design workshops that uncover high impact planning and coordination opportunities across large headquarters.
Develop and deliver executive level briefings that clearly communicate ROI, risk mitigation, and operational improvements enabled by OneBrief.
Establish and maintain a reliable network of points of contact across commands, services, and civilian agencies in the NCR.
Maintain rigorous account health metrics, identifying expansion opportunities and early signals of churn for timely intervention.
Coordinate closely with security and compliance teams to ensure all deployments meet DOD facility access, data handling, and accreditation requirements.
Drive adoption through hands on support, coaching sessions, and tailored playbooks that reflect the realities of military decision cycles.
Build credibility and influence without direct authority, persuading busy flag officers and civilian leaders of the tangible benefits of OneBrief.
Own the end to end customer journey, from initial contact through adoption, renewal discussions, and reference development.
Maintain detailed account plans and stakeholder maps that guide engagement strategy and anticipate future needs.
Act as the voice of the customer in internal discussions, ensuring product enhancements reflect real world operational constraints.
Provide timely feedback on competitive landscape moves, helping OneBrief differentiate its value in high stakes planning environments.
Requirements
You hold a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and the ability to access DOD facilities and installations.
You have planning or policy analysis experience, ideally gained within a military context where you understand how organizations are structured and how they interact across the Department.
You have operated in senior military commands, such as theater service components or higher, and Department of Defense or Office of the Secretary of Defense level organizations.
You possess advanced military planning education, such as SAMS, SAW, BSAP, or Command and Staff programs, or you are actively pursuing such credentials.
You are deeply familiar with defense policy management processes and the nuances of coordinating across military and civilian stakeholders.
You know how to navigate large government organizations, solve bureaucratic challenges, and deliver successful outcomes despite constrained timelines and shifting priorities.
You are technically adept, able to quickly become a power user of OneBrief and discuss its capabilities in detail with both engineers and non technical users.
You have a track record of customer support, both face to face and remote, and you can coordinate effectively with product engineering teams during incidents or urgent requests.
You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, cultivating trust, aligning diverse perspectives, and communicating with clarity and influence at senior levels.
You are intensely committed to the mission of improving how critical planning and policy work gets done in environments where decisions carry real world consequences.
You are proactive and adaptable, comfortable working autonomously or within cross functional teams, especially in fast paced or ambiguous operational settings.
You communicate clearly, concisely, and candidly, providing timely assessments and recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions.
You are willing to work onsite in the National Capital Region on a regular basis to build relationships, conduct workshops, and support live exercises.
Nice to have
Experience working with software deployment protocols on classified networks and understanding accreditation considerations.
Familiarity with adjacent mission sets or partner organizations where OneBrief could expand its footprint.
Background in formal change management or organizational development within a government context.
Experience supporting planning exercises or training events at the senior leadership level.
Practical notes
This role requires onsite presence in the Washington, D.C. National Capital Region due to security protocols, facility access, and the nature of customer engagements.
