The Partner Engagement Specialist, TRANSCOM operates at the nexus of military planning and software adoption within the Onebrief ecosystem. This position owns the end-to-end experience of partner teams, ensuring they derive maximum value from the platform during critical planning cycles. The role demands fluency in both military operational jargon and technical product capabilities to bridge communication gaps effectively. You will own the narrative of Onebrief's value proposition directly with TRANSCOM stakeholders, translating complex needs into actionable workflow improvements. Success in this role requires a proactive stance on identifying friction points and driving solutions before they impact mission readiness. The specialist is expected to act as a trusted advisor, providing insight that shapes both product direction and training methodologies. This position operates with a high degree of autonomy, requiring sound judgment and accountability for partner outcomes. Ultimately, you will ensure that TRANSCOM planning staff utilize Onebrief not just as a tool, but as a core component of their operational effectiveness.

What you'll do
Orchestrate intake sessions with TRANSCOM planners to clarify objectives, constraints, and operational realities.
Build and maintain workflow maps inside the Onebrief platform for planning, coordination, and information-sharing tasks.
Review draft planning artifacts with partners to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strict alignment with intent.
Ship practical guidance and system configuration changes that improve daily planning operations.
Partner closely with engineering and support teams to resolve blockers and refine the user journey.
Champion Onebrief capabilities during exercises and after-action reviews to drive deeper and more effective usage.
Translate complex policy language into actionable, understandable steps for staff communities across diverse command settings.
Maintain detailed interaction notes to inform future product development, training materials, and strategic decisions.
Demonstrate constant adaptability when plans shift unexpectedly and new stakeholders enter the operational picture.
Serve as the primary point of contact for TRANSCOM, managing expectations and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Conduct hands-on configuration of the Onebrief platform to match specific TRANSCOM planning requirements.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and document best practices for wider dissemination.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure planning staff can leverage advanced features independently.
Provide feedback on product enhancements based on direct user interactions and observed pain points.
Requirements
Possession of a current Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). The candidate must have the ability to access Department of Defense facilities and installations.
Proven history of working closely with military headquarters at tactical, operational, and strategic levels, or in comparable government environments.
Exposure to staff planning processes, whether through formal Professional Military Education training or direct service experience.
The capability to rapidly master the Onebrief application and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and candidly, particularly under time pressure and during evolving situations.
Effectiveness in fragmented systems and ambiguous decision contexts without the need for close supervision.
Extensive experience in customer support, including face-to-face interactions and remote support, with the ability to coordinate responses involving customers, product engineering, and infrastructure teams.
A commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of operational information at all times.

Prior involvement with major military planning exercises or software deployment in sensitive or constrained environments.
Practical notes
Travel: This role may require travel to Scott Air Force Base.
Work Schedule: The successful candidate must be able to work standard hours with occasional after-hours support during critical military exercises.
