About the role
As a , you will act as a technical authority on the OMNI platform, supporting customers throughout their data and AI journey. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the sales team to demonstrate the platform's capabilities, develop proof of concepts, and help convert trial accounts into long-term customers. You will engage with clients across various industries and regions, providing technical guidance and uncovering new use cases to maximize the value of OMNI's solutions. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams, including product, engineering, and design, to relay customer feedback and influence product development. The position is on-site at our San Francisco headquarters, requiring a hybrid work schedule with three days per week in the office.

What you'll do
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process, helping to identify, demonstrate, and validate relevant use cases for the OMNI platform.
- Build and present Proofs of Concept (POCs) tailored to prospective customers' data environments, illustrating how OMNI can be integrated and utilized effectively.
- Support the transition of trial accounts into paying customers by collaborating with post-sales teams and partners to ensure ongoing support and success.
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize their use of OMNI, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to gather user feedback, report on customer needs, and influence future product features and improvements.
- Assist customers in understanding how to leverage OMNI's semantic model, context graph, and AI integrations to enhance their analytics and AI capabilities.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase OMNI's features and benefits to potential clients.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging data technologies, and AI advancements to better serve customer needs and inform internal teams.
- Develop technical documentation, training materials, and best practices to support customer onboarding and internal knowledge sharing.
- Engage with customers to understand their data infrastructure, including cloud data warehouses and transformation tools, and advise on best practices for integration.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and evaluations to ensure technical alignment and success.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions to help prioritize features and improvements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of OMNI's platform, including its capabilities in AI, SQL, and data governance, to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and responses to RFPs when required.
- Contribute to the growth of OMNI's technical community by sharing insights, best practices, and success stories with internal teams and customers.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields, including some pre-sales experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, used extensively for analytics, data querying, and demonstrating platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks, including cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and BigQuery, and transformation tools like dbt.
- Proven ability to lead technical conversations directly with customers, explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Passion for working with data, with a strong desire to learn, teach, and help others understand technical solutions.
- Prior experience working with business intelligence tools and enterprise data analytics platforms such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details into understandable language for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept.
- Experience working in a customer-facing technical role, supporting clients through technical evaluations and onboarding processes.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance considerations, especially in enterprise environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

- Experience working with AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Slack integrations.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, security standards, and compliance practices.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations or working with sensitive or regulated data.
- Previous experience in a high-touch, customer-facing technical role supporting enterprise clients.
- Understanding of semantic models, context graphs, and how they are used in analytics platforms.
- Exposure to data privacy and data security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments or high-growth companies.
