About the role
As a , you will act as a trusted technical advisor and key point of contact for customers throughout their engagement with the platform. Your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team by demonstrating the capabilities of OMNI, leading technical evaluations, and helping prospects understand how the platform can meet their data needs. You will work directly with enterprise clients across various industries and regions, providing technical expertise during the sales process and beyond. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring junior Solutions Engineers, sharing best practices, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's technical delivery. Your insights from customer interactions will also inform product development, ensuring OMNI remains aligned with market needs and enterprise requirements.

What you'll do
- Partner with the sales team to provide in-depth technical expertise during the sales cycle, helping to uncover and demonstrate the value of the OMNI platform to prospective customers.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, guiding clients through the platform's features and capabilities, and understanding their specific data challenges and goals.
- Conduct product demonstrations tailored to each client's use cases, showcasing how OMNI can integrate with their existing data infrastructure and workflows.
- Develop and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate the platform's suitability for prospective clients, ensuring they see tangible benefits early in the evaluation process.
- Support prospects in trial phases by working closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding, successful implementation, and ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to plan support strategies and ensure customer success during and after deployment.
- Mentor junior Solutions Engineers, sharing technical knowledge, refining demo quality, and elevating the team's overall effectiveness in discovery and evaluation activities.
- Collect and relay user feedback from customer interactions to Product, Design, and Engineering teams to influence future product features and improvements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of OMNI's platform, including its semantic model, governed context graph, and integrations with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Slack.
- Assist in creating technical documentation, onboarding materials, and resources to facilitate customer success and technical enablement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions in the enterprise data analytics space to better support customer needs and inform product strategy.
- Engage with clients across different industries, company sizes, and regions, adapting technical presentations and solutions to diverse environments.
- Help prospects understand the technical aspects of data integration, security, and governance within OMNI's platform.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for technical discovery, demos, and evaluations to ensure consistency and high quality across the team.
- Support the sales process by addressing technical questions, providing detailed solution explanations, and assisting in proposal development.
- Work closely with engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and technical feedback for product enhancements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in data analytics, cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, and SaaS solutions.
- Represent OMNI at industry events, webinars, and conferences as needed, sharing expertise and promoting the platform's capabilities.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in enterprise pre-sales business intelligence or data analytics, with a focus on acquiring new logos and expanding existing accounts.
- Proven track record in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or solutions architecture roles within B2B SaaS environments, particularly in high-touch, deployed models.
- Deep expertise with the modern data stack, including cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and BigQuery, transformation tools like dbt, and the broader analytics ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to use SQL effectively for analytics and data validation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Prior experience working with business intelligence and enterprise data analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, engineering, and customer success.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple technical evaluations simultaneously.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise deployments.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Slack integrations is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Understanding of ITAR regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, industry events, or team collaboration as needed.
